I know what you are thinking - my this girl takes Halloween and candles pretty seriously doesn't she?
Yeah I do and unashamedly so, not that there is any shame to be had in either case. For cheap and cheerful home decorations for Halloween I fully recommend going to your nearest pound/euro/dollar (delete where appropriate) store. It is one day after all but if you are looking for something to use perhaps throughout the Autumn/Winter and maybe even yearly I'm going to be a little out there and recommend Yankee Candle Iluma-Lids.
What? Essentially it is the equivalent of dressing your candle. Bizarre I know but oh so pretty. Basically Yankee Candle Iluma-Lids are mental decorative lids (well duh!) that sit on top of the candle mouth and cast pretty patterns on the ceiling/walls when lit. They come in various designs but in my opinion the best are those associated with Halloween as shadows and patterns on the way just seem more fitting - almost like telling ghost stories non?
I realise the concept may be seem slightly bizarre but if like myself you are a little nutty on candles etc then it could just be what you are looking for. As a side note the packaging does state that the Illuma-Lids can guard against drafts. I purchased my cat and pumpkin design in the US but there is plenty of designs to be had via Yankee Candle - link and via Yankee Direct - link. They don't tend to be overly popular so if the idea does appeal to you, you can pretty much bet that you will get your favourite design on sale - generally speaking the cost £6.99 at full price!
Now back to make-up chat....
