Halloween Lip Balms Walgreens

Apparently so? I know how you all love my fun facts (not!) but one of my favourite places to visit in any state of America is Walgreens. No seriously I am obsessed, it craps all over the likes of CVS. Sweets, food and make-up all in one place and lots of it, oh and most are open 24 hours. I mean c'mon what's not to like? I often dream about relocating to America and living the American dream of 24 hour convenience and Taco Bell - I kid, there is so much more to the place than that. Anyway it was in Walgreens that I found an entire line of lip balms dedicated to Halloween! The UK doesn't quite dig Halloween as much as I'd like us to...

So yeah Halloween lip balms which are by Walgreens own brand - Well at Walgreens. As you can see they are pretty similar in design to the EOS lip balms, oddly I did notice in America this year that spherical packaging seems to be the way forward. Not really sure why as I find this style bulky and more difficult to stash in a coat pocket. Much like the EOS lip balms the Well at Walgreens Halloween lip balms are fairly firm and almost waxy on the lips (they do contain petroleum), they leave a barrier which I didn't find to be all that moisturising but perhaps it would be beneficial in protecting the lips against the cold weather. The jury is still out on that one. Really you are paying for the novelty factor and in this instance it is fun fragrances.

In my local Walgreens there was four scents to choose from and as they were only $2 each I purchased all four: Candy Corn - smells exactly like white chocolate rather than the more vanilla based scent of candy corn, Chocolate Mint - think along the lines of an After Eight mint, Ghoulish Grape - very similar to Grape Soda and lastly Pumpkin Spice which smells just how you'd imagine, like a spice based cupcake ha!

It's time the UK embraced occasions more - I mean who wouldn't want more Pumpkin Spice scented things?
