The Daily Beauty Report (26.09.14)

The Daily Beauty Report (26.09.14)

Avéne is one of my favourite skin care brands so I am really excited about this relaunch "Skincare brand Eau Thermale Avéne has announced the relaunch of their YsthéAL range. Products have been reformulated so they are three times more effective at improving skin elasticity and minimising the signs of ageing, significantly reducing wrinkle depth and length. The range is formulated with retinaldehyde, a dermo-cosmetic active ingredient derived from the vitamin A family to deliver anti-ageing benefits. Products include the Eau Thermale Avène YsthéAL Anti-Wrinkle Emulsion and Eau Thermale Avène YsthéAL Eye and Lip Contour Care. The formulations are housed in a bottle with patented air-less pump technology 6 to prevent oxidation, allowing them to remain free from parabens, alcohol, fragrance and silicone." This is set to launch in October.

Another October launch "Michael Kors has announced the launch of its newest limited-edition fragrance, Michael Kors White Eau de Parfum. The fragrance comprises top notes of freesia and ylang, dewy green and violet leaves and a hint of aldehyde. Heart notes combine jasmine Egypte, gardenia Brazil, and white peony, while white musk, tonka bean, vanilla, amber and cedarwood are at the base." You can read my full review here - link.

It certainly is the day for new October fragrances! "DKNY Fragrances has announced the launch of new DKNY Women Sparkling Fall Eau de Toilette. The fragrance comprises top notes of grapefruit, infused with accents of blackcurrant and plum, heart notes of roses, olibanum and pink pepper, while tonka beans, benzoin and patchouli oil form the base."

A whole new skin care line up from Superdrug! "Superdrug has announced the launch of Clearly Youthful, a new skincare collection that is scientifically formulated to target the needs of both ageing and problem skin. The new range offers a complete regime of products with both anti-blemish and youth-boosting properties. Products include day and night serums, daily moisturiser, peel off glycolic mask, an AHA exfoliating cream cleanser, a triple action cleanser, mask and scrub and an effective blemish gel. All products are dermatologically approved, non pore blocking and are antibacterial, as well as being suitable for use by vegetarians and vegans." This will launch in October.

One last fragrance launch for the day and this will hit the counters by the end of the month! "Dolce & Gabbana has introduced The One Collector's Edition, comprising The One and The One for Men fragrances. Each flacon features the imprint of a gold coin, a strong motif in Dolce&Gabbana’s fashion collection for 2014. The One is a rich oriental floral fragrance, which contains notes of bergamot and mandarin, combined with lychee and peach, as well as notes of vanilla, amber and musk; while The One for Men is an oriental spicy fragrance which combines grapefruit, coriander and basil with cardamom, ginger, tobacco and amber, along with cedarwood." £62 (women's) & £64 (men's).

Personally I can't quite wrap my head around the idea but to each their own "Skincare brand Dr Organic has announced the launch of its Organic Snail Gel collection, due to the popular demand for the original Snail Gel product. The new range contains a host of anti-ageing benefits and exclusively harnesses helix aspersa muller, the ingredient snails use to quickly regenerate its own shell and skin when damaged. Blended with a number of bio-active, natural and organic extracts, the range aims to leave skin feeling hydrated, smoother and firmer with a more youthful glow. Products launching include: Snail Gel Cream, an absorbing face cream that blending snail secretion filtrate with aloe vera leaf juice, shea butter, cocoa butter and argan kernel oil to soothe, revitalise and restore natural moisture levels; Snail Gel Eye Serum, to help hydrate, smooth and protect the skin while improving the skin's renewal and elasticity;Snail Gel Facial Serum, clinically proven to improve skin hydration by 32% after four weeks; Snail Gel Hand & Nail Elixir, a rich hand and nail cream that instantly soothes and moisturises the skin; and Snail Gel Moisture Mask, individual sachets of product to penetrate deep into the pores of the epidermis, removing excess oil and impurities, while helping stimulate cell generation." This is a 6th of October launch.

  3. Not too sure about the snail face products haha I'm assuming there is no actual snail in it otherwise that would be so cruel, but it still makes me feel a bit queasy!
That Superdrug range sounds great though, I love a glycolic mask and I love a peel off mask so that's best of both worlds! x
