Mally Supersize Perfect Prep Poreless Primer

One thing we all know to be true is that I am utterly obsessed with primers and anything that can help combat my enlarged pores is more than likely to be tested by myself. The newest primer I have been trying is the colossal proportioned Mally Supersize Perfect Prep Poreless Primer, a huger than huge pot of skin softening, optical blurring pre-base product. I am entirely new to the Mally make-up brand which I believe is an American export and the cosmetic offering of celebrity make-up artist Mally Roncal, anyway here is my thoughts on the Mally Supersize Perfect Prep Poreless Primer...

The Mally Supersize Perfect Prep Poreless Primer is a whopping 2.8oz/79.4g which as you can imagine simply has to be stored in a large container of some type. Mally have opted for a bigger than big screw top jar which is rather pretty with its metallic mauve lid but not at all practical for travel. If you do purchase this primer I would recommend sourcing a smaller jar and de-potting a little into it should you travel frequently. For at home use I really don't think the size of the jar will be a problem, it is oddly easy to hold and not as fiddly as smaller containers.

So yes Mally Supersize Perfect Prep Poreless Primer what does it do? Mally Supersize Perfect Prep Poreless Primer contains silicone polymers that not only "fill" fine lines and enlarged pores but also creates a soft, matte base and of course prolong make-up wear. It is non-greasy and almost has a a whipped mousse like quality which glides on to the skin with ease, cooling and blurring imperfections instantly. On the skin it feels lightweight, lightly hydrating and really comfortable, some silicone based primers feel tacky and heavy which is less than ideal for daily use. If you are a fan of Maybelline Baby Skin and the likes of Benefit Porefessional but want something a little more intense in terms of blurring qualities this is a good option. I feel it softens the appearance of my pores slightly better than the aforementioned primers and keeps my skin matte for longer which is always a bonus when you have oily skin. Personally I find that Mally Supersize Perfect Prep Poreless Primer's strengths lie in creating the illusion of softer fine lines and pores rather than prolonging make-up wear but then again I do have rather oily skin. The downside is the size of the jar, even with daily use I highly doubt any regular user would be able to make a dent in the tub before the 24 month expiry date. However if you are a make-up artist this size could be a complete blessing.
