Here is what is happening in the beauty world at the moment...
Love Aromatherapy Associates? Well this will be right up your alley and perfect for the upcoming Autumn/Winter seasons. "Aromatherapy Associates has added to its international best-selling Miniature Oil Bath & Shower Oil Collection, by including the newest addition, Inner Strength Bath & Shower Oil. The box is made up of 10 miniature bottles, each containing precisely the right amount of each blend for one bath or shower experience. Relax helps you to slow down or induce a good night’s sleep, De-Stress helps to clear the mind and ease physical stresses and strains, Revive invigorates and energises a weary mind and body, Support takes care of you in times of need and Inner Strength, which fortifies and restores in periods of extreme emotional trauma." It will launch on the 18th of August.
This coming October a new and more intense version of one of Elemis best selling products will launch! "Skincare brand Elemis has announced the launch of Pro-Collagen Marine Cream Ultra-Rich, an updated formula of the original cream launched over 11 years ago. The product is formulated to nourish and moisturise dry, dehydrated skin while combating the signs of ageing. Key ingredients include: padina pavonica, a Mediterranean marine algae which increases the quantity of glucosaminoglycans (GAGs) within the skin; dermachlorella, to aid the cohesion of the dermal-epidermal junction by increasing the synthesis of collagen's, laminins and elastins, creating overall skin firmness and tone; cocoa butter, to hydrate and fight off free-radical damage; and sunflower extract, to boost key lipids in the skin, reinforcing the skin barrier. Other ingredients include gingko biloba, rose and mimosa absolutes."
Later this year Hourglass cosmetics will launch the Hourglass Ambient Blush Palette. I wish I had waited as three shades in one place is much more handy than the one bulky blush! You can see it in this rather inspired beauty PR video - link.
Bobbi Brown is venturing into brights, sheer brights. As a neutral lover (I'm a little wary of bright eyeshadow) this is something that even I can on board with! "Bobbi Brown Cosmetics has announced the launch of Sheer Brights Eyeshadow, a new collection inspired by the AW14 trends of the catwalk. The new collection comprises 15 eye shadow shades, ranging from vivid blue and pastel green to bubblegum pink, across matte, metallic and shimmer formulas. Shades of Eye Shadow include: Burnt Rose, Peach Cloud, Cornflower, Pistachio, Sea Glass, Sunrise Pink and Sweet Pink; while Shimmer Wash Eye Shadow is available in: French Blue, Berry Sorbet, Pink Slip and Golden Amber; and Metallic Eye Shadow available in: Hazy Lilac, Aegean Blue, Bubbly and Linen. Encompassed in a flip-top compact, each shadow can be used individually or popped into a customisable palette (sold separately), which is available in sizes of three, four and six pans."
On the 9th of September the Body Shop will launch a new nail line, lots of brights and a stellar formulation looks to be in order. "The Body Shop has announced the launch of Colour Crush Nails, a new collection of nail varnishes added to the existing Colour Crush range of eyeshadows and lipsticks. Featuring 24 nail shades, the range contains the brand's '3 free-from' formula: no harsh chemicals, vegan and not tested on animals. Enriched with Community Fair Trade marula oil, the varnishes offer a high gloss finish that is also quick drying. Key shades from each colour palette include: Crimson Kiss, Red My Mind (above left), Peach Babe, Rosy Cheeks (above right), A Grape Affair, Got The Blues, Minty Amour (above middle), Gorgeous In Grey, Smoky Rose and Top & Base Coat. Also in the collection is the new Nail Art Pen, a double-ended tool for nail art, and Sweet Almond Oil Nail Varnish Remover, a four-in-one formula with sweet almond oil, soya oila and Community Fair Trade sugar cane essence. "
Another skin care launch this time from Liz Earle "Skincare brand Liz Earle has announced the launch of Superskin™ Moisturiser, a reformulation of the original with added natural neroli. Offering a blend of naturally active ingredients rich in GLA, omega-3 and antioxidants, the product works to visibly plump, smooth and moisturise mature or very dry skin. Key ingredients include a blend of neroli, lavandin and chamomile, as well as the same active ingredients of the original formulation, such as cranberry, borage and organic rosehip oils; working to reduce the trans-epidermal moisture loss while improving barrier function. The moisturiser is also un-fragranced to ensure it suits and soothes even the most sensitive skin." This will launch this coming 28th of August.
Those body shop nail polishes look good!

I have two of the Hourglass blushes but thankfully neither of them are in the palette. I will so be getting it.
ReplyDeleteHourglass blush palette? That's super exciting!
ReplyDeleteThat's really interesting about the Liz Earle moisturiser coming in an unfragranced version. I wonder if that will roll out to their other products? I have the light moisturiser, and it is (relatively mildly) fragranced. I don't have any reactions to it, but I do know of people put off the brand by their use of fragrance.
ReplyDeleteI haven't even got around to purchasing the Hourglass Powder palette (it's at the top of my wishlist) and now they bring out a blush one! That is not good for my bank account!
