Here is what is happening in the beauty world today...
Being a huge fan of Narciso Rodriguez for Her this excites me greatly, as of September this yea Narcisco Rodriguez will launch a new scent - Narciso Rodriguez Narciso EDP. It is said that notes will include gardenia, rose, musk, vetiver, black cedar and white cedar. Look at that chic bottle doesn't it beg to be added to your collection?
One for the gentlemen out there "Online boutique I Love 2 Love has today launched Gentleman Jools, its new grooming emporium. The new emporium features a hand-picked selection of 'must have' grooming essentials from superlative shaving brushes, to soap sets in subtle yet masculine fragrances, moustache wax and beard oils."
I have no idea when or if the new Origins Drink Up Sugars Lip Balms will hit the UK but I can say I am uber excited to read about them none the less. I think they are pretty similar to the original Drink Up Balms but more hydrating - I could be talking nonsense. What I can say is that they will come in six shades. "Drench lips with quenching moisture plus a luscious hint of tint. Aloe Vera helps soothe. Apricot Kernel and Avocado Oils deliver nourishing hydration. Plus a complex of Orange Peel, Barley and Wheat Germ help protect against future dryness. In seconds lips feel soft, smooth. Look delicious. Apply on its own or as a shine over lipstick."
Creating gel nails in the comfort of your home just got easier thanks to Elegant Touch's newest system which can be found in certain supermarkets. I would love my local Asda superstore (if you shop in Clydebank you will understand)to take a leaf out of M&S's book and have a beauty hall. Anyway before I completely go off tangent "Elegant Touch LUX GEL - a new at-home 60 seconds gel polish system that provides 15 days of no chip, no wear, no wait colour that is suitable for use on fingers and toes. With 18 glossy shades (£9.95), LUX GEL dries instantly for smudge free nails. The LUX GEL Starter Kit (£69.99) contains a top and base coat, two classic gel polish colours, LED lamp, nail file, lint free pads and wipe of cleanser. The range also includes a Removal Accessories Kit (£7.99), featuring three sets of 10 pre-made foil nail parcels, a 4-way nail butter and three manicure sticks. Available from Asda, Tesco and Sainsbury's."
The US is a buzz with the launch of a new Smashbox palette - Smashbox The Photo Op Palette which is pretty much a dream palette for me, it features lots of warm shades and a beautiful rose gold. I don't just want this I need it. No word on when this hits the UK but do expect a review once I manage to track it down! "Inspired by some of the hottest eye looks from the Smashbox studios, The Photo Op Palette features the iconic eyeshadow formula in all the essential shades of the season. Smoldering, hazy hues pair perfectly with limited-edition deep cherry shades to help you create a statement-making smoky eye."
A new hair care line from Lee Stafford rolls out this month and I for one couldn't be more excited! "Lee Stafford has unveiled UBUNTU OILS FROM AFRICA, a new collection of oils for the hair. Taken from the African Baobab tree, the oil is pressed from the seeds of the baobab fruit and contains vitamins A and E to help leave hair pampered, repaired and restored. Products within the collection include: Moisturising Shampoo and Conditioner, to revive dry hair; Moisturising Hair Butter, which restores moisture balance and shine to dry hair; Moisturising Heat Protection Spray; Moisturising Blow Dry Smootheeee, containing a formula that works to smooth and moisturise the hair shaft while blow drying; Repair Oil for coarse/damaged hair, containing mafura oil to penetrate and restore; Light Oil Repairing Mist, containing marula oil with rich antioxidants to repair and restore fine and damaged hair; and Colour Fade Protection Oil Treatment, formulated with mongongo oil which is rich in omega 6 and protects against UV rays, enhancing the vivacity and shine of coloured hair." Super soft hair will be mine one way or the other.
Have a lovely evening!
