Lush Catastrophe Cosmetic Fresh Face Mask

I live in the suburbs with hopes of one day living further out with the city i.e in the countryside but due to what I do for a living I do spend a lot of time in various cities. I love seeing new places and meeting new people but my skin doesn't quite enjoy the pollution factor, it normally rewards me for venturing outside the 'burbs with an impressive and angry blemish or two. To help calm and restore my skin I have been using Lush Catastrophe Cosmetic Fresh Face Mask, okay I have been dipping into my sisters pot and only bought my own tub yesterday. Whoops...

I was first introduced to Lush Catastrophe Cosmetic Fresh Face Mask while in Poole, I was lucky enough to have a skin consultation and as I am not really all that blemish prone these days perhaps it was time to stop using Lush Cupcake and try something a little more soothing. Lush Catastrophe Cosmetic Fresh Face is both calming and moisturising due to it being jam packed with ingredients such as blueberries (protects and soothes), calamine (calms and controls excess oil) and chamomile (calms, soothes and brightens) as well as rose, and almond oils to further soothe and soften the skin. Blueberries have been selected due to the fact that they are rich in antioxidant vitamins A, C, and E that can help to protect the skin from damage as well as repairing existing problems.

What I like most about Lush Catastrophe Cosmetic Fresh Face Mask is that is cools and calms as soon as you apply it. It does dry out on the skin after 10 or so minutes to indicate it is time to remove the mask but doesn't strip the skin. I will be honest in saying it doesn't exactly rid me of blemishes but it does take the sting/itch out of irritated skin and is the perfect choice for those moments when you break out due to trying a new product or two. It may not tackle blemishes as such but it does calm the the inflamed skin meaning any pesky spots look less red and angry. My skin is currently dehydrated and this is one of the few rinse off, non-greasy face masks I have tried that doesn't feel overwhelming on the skin yet helps to restore moisture balance.

There is a reason this seems to be everyone's favourite Lush face mask - it works and it suits just about every skin type too!
