Lush Bathtime Haul

I'm house sitting all this week while some of my relatives go on holiday and the chance to have a nightly bath even in this humidity was too much to pass up on. Like any sane person I of course popped along to Lush and stocked up! Hey when you only have a shower in your house you make the most of these opportunities!

First up we have two bath bombs, two bath bombs I don't think I have ever purchased before.
I normally go for the Fizzbanger and Big Blue but this time around I decided to try out Avobath which has been created for dry skin and has a bright citrus scent. Although it is a combination of lemongrass, bergamont and avocado -  I swear it smells like Lime! For a night time dip I added a Twilight bath bomb which is a blend of lavender, vanilla and ylang ylang. The idea is that it soothes and calms the mind making it perfect for a bed time dip. I don't always like lavender so this could be a hit or miss situation.

Lush Bath Melts are just luxurious, they turn the bath water into a skin softening, oil infusion. If you have dry skin or simply don't like bath bombs or bubbles for that matter I recommend picking up a bath melt, my personal favourite is Mango Moment which I purposely side stepped this week. I am not sleeping all that well so I figured Lush Dreamtime couldn't hurt - a blend of Cocoa Butter, Almond Oil, Lavender Oil,  Ginger Oil, Sandalwood Oil and Chamomile combine to soothe the skin and mind. Oddly in bar form this reminds me of oatmeal in terms of scent. I wonder if that will change when popped in the water? Can I confess that anything that is based on mystical beings or times will always have my attention. I am obsessed with the paranormal so I am a little shocked that I haven't purchased a Ceridwen's Cauldron Bath Melt up until now! This has been created for dry ans sensitive skin to create a milky oatmeal bath to soothe, calm and restore the skin. Once the melt has erm melted you can use the little muslin pouch as a face cloth. Isn't that pretty cool? The scent of the Ceridwen's Cauldron is pretty heady - frankincense, rose and sandalwood. I personally find it to be beautiful but it is one of the few products I wouldn't recommend blind buying.

Bubbles! Who doesn't love bubbles? There is something so satisfying and child like of being able to clamber into a tub bursting full of tiny bubbles. If you have a bath tub please do yourself a favour and try a Lush Bubble Bar, even if it is just the once. My personal favourite has to be The Comforter but keeping up with my theme of trying something new I decided to purchase Blue Skies and Fluffy Clouds which defiently rings a little cinnamon in terms of scent which it contains along with Patchouli and Frankincense. The idea is that this bar will create oodles of bubbles, turn the bath blue and use aromatherapy benefits to soothe the mind. Does it work? I guess we will just have to wait and see. Do you like rose fragrances? Then you need Lush Rose Jam Bubble Bar which in my opinion smells very similar to Stella McCartney - Stella Eau de Parfum. Being brave (yeah I'm so brave purchasing bath treats) I also popped A French Kiss Bubble Bar into my in store wicker basket. As I mentioned above lavender isn't my favourite scent but this is beautiful, it is fresh and smells like real lavender stalks not that fake, powdery scent so many brands use. Speaking of lavender stalks my decorative flowers seem to have went missing. I'm willing to bet a certain grandmother of mine may have laid claim on it. Hmm.

If you could only purchase one Lush product for the rest of your life what would it be?
