If ever there was a beauty box to restore your faith in the sample box world it is this.
I kid you not when I say that the Latest in Beauty - The Glamour Beauty Edit July 2014 box is not only fantastic value for money but it is filled to the brim with product you will actually use and adore.
Oh and it doesn't hurt that it has a brand spanking new Illamasqua launch in the box too!
To find out in full what is inside the Latest in Beauty The Glamour Beauty Edit July 2014 read on...
DHC Deep Cleansing Oil (deluxe sample size)
Everyone and their mother loves this now cult cleansing oil. I did try it a few years ago and truthfully didn't love it but decided to give it a second chance and have to say I am swayed. I like that this oil is deeply cleansing yet gentle and moisturising at the same time. It removes all traces of make-up (gentle enough to use on the eyes) and generally just feels great. A huge thumbs up from me, come pay day I may purchase a full sized bottle.
Illamasaqua Glamore Nude Lipstick £18.50 (various shades and full size)
Illamasqua have only just launched their nude line up within the Glamore lipstick collection and in each Latest in Beauty The Glamour Beauty Edit box you will fine one full sized nude toned lipstick. Now said box costs £16.95 which includes p&p so it doesn't take a genius to figure out that for the price of one Illamasqua lipstick plus change back you get a brand new nude lipstick plus eight other items. If that isn't good value for money I'm afraid I don't know what is! I have the shade Rosepout which along with a few other shades will be reviewed on this blog in a few hours.
Magnifibres Brush On False Lashes £15.80 (full size)
Another cult product that many swear by, this is a fibre top coat in which you apply on top of mascara before sandwiching in-between another coat of mascara for instant false lash effect lashes. It is quick and easy to use and unlike false eyelashes this won't damage the natural lashes. Having rather bad hayfever at the moment which has resulted in rather sensitive eyelashes I can't put my tube to use but come Autumn flutter lashes will be mine!
Rimmel Sun Shimmer Instant Tan BB Skin Perfector £6.99 (full size)
Oh Rimmel Sun Shimmer how you remind me of my youth - back in the day my friends and I used to sneak into night clubs in which we weren't quite old enough to frequent with a good few coats of Rimmel Sun Shimmer self tan. I can happily say that since then the formula has improved, the colour is much more natural and not as prone to streaking. I always pack a bottle of this instant tanner when on holiday to even out any annoying tan lines.
Velvotan The Original Tanning Mitt £2.99 (full size)
Behind every good self tanning application is an even better self tanning mitt.
The Velvotan The Original Tanning Mitt is super soft yet sturdy (the tan will not seep through and stain your palms) and helps you to achieve a flawless application each and every time. It works wonderfully with all formulas be it a cream, gel, mousse or liquid not to mention it washes up wonderfully in the washing machine.
A self tanning essential if you ask me!
Crabtree and Evelyn Nail Lacquer £6.00 (full size)
There's not really much I can say about this other than it is a pretty enough red shade (I have the colour Apple). It isn't all that opaque and rather sheer. It dries fairly quickly though.
Bourjois Cream Blush in 01 £7.99 (full size)
A beautiful, light peachy nude blush that adds a light pinch of colour to the cheeks, it is easy to apply, wears well and can double up as a matte lipstick. You can read my full review and see swatches here - link.
Toni & Guy Volume Plumping Whip £7.19 (full size)
One for all that enjoy voluminous locks, a light cream pomade in which you apply to damp hair before blow drying for lots of volume on the crown. The beauty of this product is that it is weightless in the hair, doesn't leave the hair sticky or greasy and won't dry out to a crispy finish. A little goes a long, long way and it doesn't hurt that it smells great too!
Hawaiian Tropic Satin Protection Ultra Radiance Sun Lotion SPF30 £5.49 (full size)
I adore Hawaiian Tropic sun care, it smells great, is so well priced and protects the skin so well.
This 100ml bottle is perfect for popping into handbags and travel cases for on the go applications.
I really need to head to Boots and pick up a good few bottles for the warm weather.
Isn't the Latest in Beauty The Glamour Beauty Edit July 2014 Box nothing short of fantastic?
