To know me is to know that I love nothing more than a new candle or two, I particularly enjoy exploring new and lesser known brands which leads me to introducing Durance en Provence candles...
Durance en Provence was created in 1986 in the south of France by a couple of framers inspired by the land and the rich produce of the region. Each product has a minimum of 95% natural ingredients not to mention they are paraben free, completely against animal testing and use locally sourced products! Why can't more brands follow suit?
I was kindly sent the Durance en Provence Tiare Flower Candle which is one of the new scents from the brand for 2014! It features top notes of green leaves, gently combined with delicate middle notes are tiare flower and coconut nectar all on a woody base. It is a fresh, uplifting scent that is perfect for summer and reminds me of being abroad in the head surrounded by the sea and palm trees. On a rainy day like today it really is a treat for the senses. If you are fed up of weakly scented candles Durance is a brand I recommend discovering, it scents the room without even being lit! The fragrance throw is out of this world, one hour of burning will easily scent your entire house and linger for hours maybe even the next day afterwards. A huge thumbs up from me.
Durance en Provence Candles start at £14, you can find out more here - link.
