DKNY MYNY Eau de Parfum

New York is such a vibrant city, I have yet to meet anyone who doesn't want to visit and explore the city that doesn't sleep for themselves. I'll level with you, the dream is to move to New York one day and as a result my ears do tend to prick up when I hear about a new beauty launch based on said city which leads me on to DKNY MYNY Eau de Parfum...

DKNY MYNY Eau de Parfum

DKNY MYNY Eau de Parfum has been inspired by vibrancy of New York City - the fast paced lifestyle and bright city lights. The bottle is rather cool, a huge bulky heart shape (it has a skyscraper effect too) that is very modern and dare I say it a piece of art. In all honesty I don't think you will want to lug this bottle about daily as it is pretty heavy so you may want to invest in the likes of a Travalo or any other travel atomiser. As you may be aware Rita Ora is the face of MYNY and features in the new campaign directed and shot by Francesco Carrozzini.

I have to be honest (maybe even blunt) in saying I don't particularly like this fragrance, it rings a little too masculine and has a similar dry down to that of a Lynx Deodorant (all the teenage memories come flooding back). Notes are said to include raspberries, galbanum, spiked with accents of pink pepper, middle notes of Egyptian jasmine, freesia and orris, while patchouli, vanilla absolu, musk and ambergris are at the base. If you like more musky scents then I do think you will enjoy this, I think deep down I was expecting this to have an apple kick!

DKNY MYNY Eau de Parfum is exclusive to London Heathrow Airport until the 31st of July
and then will go into all travel locations this coming August. At the moment on Twitter Heathrow Airport are giving away two trips to NYC, you can find out more here - link.
