MAC Rocky Horror Show Collection

I apologise that the "Daily Beauty Reports" haven't been quite as frequent as I'd have liked but truthfully there hasn't been all that much to write about until now...

New lipsticks galore! "Lipstick Queen have announced the launch of Silver Screen, a new collection of lipsticks. The term 'silver screen' originates from the silver content embedded into the material that was used in the early days of the motion picture industry, creating a highly reflective surface. The texture of the new Silver Screen lipsticks has been designed to imitate this effect. The glossy, wet-look effect is achieved with a high percentage of new active ingredient pomegranate sterols, derived from pomegranate fruit. The active improves the barrier function of the lips, keeping them soft and hydrated for longer. Other key ingredients include vitamin E and A, plant oils and beeswax, as well as peppermint oil to release a natural scent on application. Shades include: Come Up (vibrant baby rose), Made It (deep wine), Play It (hot pink), See Me (peach), Stella! (purple with turquoise), Have Paris (pillar box red) and You Kid (nude)." They will cost £35 each and launch this coming August.

A new DKNY fragrance fronted by Rita Ora (I think it should have went to a New York born celeb but hey ho) - DKNY My NY will launch on the 19th of August. From what I can garner it has been inspired by Summer days in New York City and is of course a fruity floral. Notes are said to include: raspberry, galbanum, pink pepper, Egyptian jasmine, freesia, orris, patchouli, vanilla absolute and musk. The bottle is divine - a real show stopping, geographical number.

A new YSL foundation is on the cards - YSL Le Teint Encre de Peau Foundation which very little is known about yet. From what I have read it is a light, long wearing, second skin type foundation. Colour me intrigued.

Now for some MAC news all of which comes courtesy of Specktra.

- MAC will team up with Brooke Shields to create a limited edition collection entitled MAC Brooke Shields Beauty Icon which will launch this coming October. It seems to be a fairly vast collection in limited edition packaging and will feature a 15 pan eyeshadow palette, my guess is that it will be one of the permanent neutral palettes all ready on sale.

-If you like tropical tones and a real summer collection MAC Moody Blooms is a collection to Google, it will hit the UK this coming July but some blogs already have swatches/reviews. It is truly beautiful.

- Now to be an utter tease seeing as I have next to no information MAC will be launching a Rocky Horror Picture Show Collection to mark the 40th anniversary! Rumour has it that it will be deep, vampy, creative and a huger than huge collection. Yep an instant sell out collection in the making.

Have a lovely evening everyone!
