OGX Argan Oil Hair Care Collection

Lately I have become a little obsessed with getting my hair back on track - silky, sleek locks is the end aim but up until recently truth be told my ends where looking a little ratty.
I guess bleach will do that to a gal, now I do still by the stand that Lush Daddy-O Shampoo is the best shampoo I have come across to brighten and pre-long a wash but for softer hair I recommend the OGX Keratin Oil Hair Care.

I am no stranger to the haircare aisles of my local Boots store and have seen the chubby bottles of OGX Hair Care (previously known as Organix, the re-brand is still being rolled out so most stores will still feature the older packaging) and yet never added a bottle or two to my basket. To this day I have no idea why as the brand is widely blogged about and positively too, the prices are reasonable and the ingredients are stellar (sulphate free). I could kick myself as since trying out OGX Keratin  Oil Hair Care my hair has not been softer!

"Rich Brazilian cocoa nut oils combined with hydrolyzed keratin protein to instantly smooth and fortify your locks for a glossy, healthy-looking glow. Sulfate-free formula gently cleanses and hydrates for silky smooth hair. An exclusive blend of antioxidant rich organic coconut oil along with rich keratin proteins infuse to strengthen the hair, while organic avocado oils and cocoa butter smooth the cuticle for straight, strong tresses adding a brilliant glow and luminescent shine."

As you can see from the above blurb that OGX Keratin Oil Hair Care line has been created for those who desire a smoother, sleeker finish to their hair. It does state that it will straighten the cuticle of the hair, it most likely does to the smallest extent but I would still say that it is safe enough for those with curly hair to use for frizz free curls. I have been trying out the OGX Keratin Oil Shampoo, Conditioner and Weightless Reviving Dry Oil Spray. The shampoo is thick, almost jelly like so you only need the smallest amount each wash - as it doesn't contain sulphates I found that it doesn't lather up quite as well as a typical shampoo but cleanses the hair well regardless. Much like the shampoo the conditioner is a thick texture - great for thirsty, dry hair like mine. It reminds me a little of Aussie's 3 Minute Miracle  in that my hair was instantly hydrated and felt touchably soft from the first wash. If like myself you like a leave in treatment then I highly recommend trying out the OGX Keratin Oil Weightless Reviving Dry Oil Spray - I'm not a massive oil fan but as this is so light weight and more importantly a mist in product I don't feel it on my skin (oils you apply with your bare hands no thank you) and yet reap the benefits. This hair oil adds a light sheen to my hair which is more noticeable when blow dried straight, left to dry on its own my waves are more defined, frizz is gone and my hair generally just looks and feels so much more softer. For those with dried out hair OGX Keratin Oil Hair Care Collection should be your next purchase.
