Glossybox May 2014 Review

That's right need, not want but need!
This month Glossybox have teamed up with Superdrug to produce a limited edition box which contains four full sized products and boy does it not disappoint! If you do not want any spoilers then do not read after the jump!

Glossybox May 2014 Review

I do want to stress that boxes may differ from mine as Glossybox don't scribe to the one box suits all mantra but brands you can expect to find inside this month's offering include: Ghost fragrance, Max Factor, Maybelline, Rimmel, Simple and many more. Here is what was inside my box:

Glossybox May 2014 Review

Ghost Eclipse Eau de Toliette  (2ml) - Normally I disregard sample testers of fragrance but I am glad I sprayed this on, a light but fresh, fruity floral that reminds me of being on holiday in the Mediterranean. I'm going to need a full sized bottle of this for the Summer that much I can tell you!

Max Factor Facefinity All Day Primer (full size) - I have reviewed this in full here - link basically it is one of the best primers I have ever used. Nothing keeps my make-up in place quite like it and considering it costs £10.99 to purchase if you find this in your Glossybox it is the equivalent of purchasing it in store and getting three other full sized products free. You can't argue with that logic ha!

Glossybox May 2014 Review

Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara (full size) - I have only quickly applied this today but so far I can say that the want is quite large and not great for my small eyes and flimsy lashes but the formula does thicken, separate and lengthen.

Scholl Velvet Smooth Night Mask (full size) - Now this is clever, an overnight foot mask which you pop on before you go to bed to wake up to softer feet. With the weather becoming somewhat more pleasant I have began to think about sporting my new Birkenstock sandals but my feet do require a little TLC. I haven't tested this overnight yet but will do so and update with a full review but what I can say is that the thick, rich formula is perfect for tootsies not to mention it contains Vitamins A,E + Omega 6 to naturally soften the skin.

B. Sheer Conditioning Lipstick in Petal (full size) - If you are Vegan (and even if you are not) you really should investigate Superdrug's B brand, it is full of wonderful skincare and make-up products that won't break the bank. I like the B. Sheer Conditioning Lipsticks somewhat to Revlon's Lip Butters, a soft, creamy yet firm texture that glides on to the lips delivering both hydration and a wash of colour. So easy to use and even easier to wear. The shade Petal is a medium pink tinged brown, a neutral my lips but better hue.

Schwarzkopf Essence Ultime Crystal Shine Conditioner (full size) - I used this ultra rich yet lightweight conditioner in the shower this morning and I am seriously impressed. I have long, thick hair that soaks up conditioner at even given chance and yet I didn't have to use half a bottle to give my hair the moisture it craves. It smells wonderful, has a thick texture that screams luxury, made detangling my hair a dream and left my locks seriously soft after one use. This is one conditioner you want to snap up and soon! I'm so impressed that I am going to seek out the entire Omega Repair Collection from this line as it seems more suited to my hair type. In a word? Dreamy. Look out for a future review!

Garnier Oil Beauty Oil Infused Nourishing Lotion (sachet) - Another product I slapped on this morning was this, admittedly I could have done with a little more in terms of content than the sachet offered but I kid you not I'm impressed. A light, silky oil infused body lotion that offers the hydration and moisture qualities of an oil with the mess and fuss free approach of a body lotion. Sold. It smells great, absorbs instantly and warrants a visit to my local Superdrug to pick up a full sized bottle.

What a great box huh?
