Apparently a new Katy Perry fragrance is on the way - Katy Perry Royal Revolution. It has been listed as an "irresistible floral fragrance that’s as beautiful as it is bold, as royal as it is rebellious " and said to be inspired by the beauty of blue diamond. Notes include Freesia, pomegranate, jasmine, orange blossom, sandalwood and vanilla orchid.
Not technically breaking news as most will have heard of the upcoming MAC collobration with Kelly Osbourne and her mother Sharon which I'm sure will hit the UK this coming June? Anyway a new image has appeared online giving us a sneak peek of a few of Kelly's products. I can see myself purchasing everything in such image, minus the brush. So pretty.
It is no secret I am a candle addict, and the new Penhaligon's The Countryside Collection is calling my name but at £87 a pop I'm guessing I'll have to hold out for a while "English perfume house Penhaligon’s has unveiled The Countryside Candle Collection. Housed in decadent hat boxes, the collection consists of four triple wicked candles packed with essential oils. An Amble in the Orchard comprises: top notes of basil, lavender and green pea; middle notes of garden rose, apple and pear; while musk, vetiver, patchouli and cedarwood are at the base. A Picnic in the Meadow contains: top notes of thyme, clary sage, mown hay and armoise; middle notes of geranium, clover and heartsease; and base notes of amber, dry hay, oakmoss, musk and patchouli. A Walk in the Woods contains: top notes of clary sage, grapefruit, armoise and fresh cut grass; heart notes of violet leaf, geranium, muguet and lavender; while moss, hay, amber, cedarwood, sandalwood and patchouli are at the base. Tea on the Terrace comprises: freshly cut grass as the head note; lilac, rose, hyacinth, narcisse, magnolia, choisya, jasmine, lavender and geranium at the heart; and Heliotrope as the base note."
This coming June Clarins will be launching a new tinted moisturiser, which I did road test today. Obviously I will need a few more wears to determine my true thoughts but so far so good and I can see it being a good light base for most skin types. "Hydraquench Tinted Moisturizer SPF15. The lightweight formula combines hyaluronic acid with katafray bark extract, boosting the skin's own hydrating mechanisms by stimulating the production of filaggrin, which reinforces the skin's barrier function. The product delivers a double radiance-boosting action on the skin, providing a natural-looking glow; while long-hold colour and multi-directional pigments work to evenly distribute colour and create a blurred effect to minimise the look of imperfections. Shades available include: 001 Porcelain, 01 Sand, 02 Honey, 03 Peach, 04 Blond, 05 Gold and 06 Bronze."
Come July this new Benefit launch will be all any beauty blogger is talking about. I for one can not wait for the make-up removing product! "Benefit Cosmetics has announced the launch of two new products to its they're Real! line. New they're Real! push-up liner is a waterproof, matte black gel eyeliner. The product, in a pen format, offers a custom AccuFlex tip that features a soft angled tip for maximum control; a flat wide guard, which gently pushes lashes aside to get close to the lashline; and a wide base to provide easy application. To launch alongside the liner, they're Real! remover is a strip-down waterproof eye make-up remover with a gentle, concentrated and creamy gel formula."
Have a lovely evening everyone!
