The Daily Beauty Report (13.05.14)

Better late than never here is today's beauty news...

It seems crazy lip shades will be everywhere this summer and on the 1st of July Armani gets in on the action. "Giorgio Armani Cosmetics has announced the launch of Bright Ribbon, a new collection of lipsticks and nail polishes. New Rouge d' Armani sheers are lip balms with a sheer finish, colour and shine, offering a lightweight and translucent effect. Shades include coral 305, mandarine 306, rose tender 509, rose pop électrique 508, prune star 603 and violet foncé 604. New Nail Lacquer is a collection of nail polishes with a gelified texture that transforms from a gel formula to a fluid 'CrystalGel' texture for easier application, solidifying as it dries. Two types of resin (epoxy and polyester) have been combined with a crystal shine polymer to provide a top-coat effect, delivering shine, adhesion and longer-lasting hold. Nail Lacquer shades echo those of the lipstick."

Liked or perhaps loved Marc Jacobs Honey? Well a new version is on the way Marc Jacobs Pink Honey which is said to contain notes of mandarin, pear, peach and more. Yum! No exact launch date but it will be avaliable this coming Summer.

On the 30th of May Guerlain will launch Limon Verde and Terra Tropica by Terracotta. "Limon Verde is the latest fragrance addition to the Aqua Allegoria collection and combines notes of tonic bean and citrus fruits; while Terra Tropica by Terracotta is a limited edition bronzer and blush powder duo, available in one universal shade and etched with a unique design." I'm really hoping that Limon Verde is a strong lemon based scent that will remind me of Italy.

FaceGym has arrived at Selfridges which in essence is a deep massage for the face which promises to deliver instant results that will last for a good few weeks. From the online reviews it seems to be the equivalent of a non-surgical face lift.

Here is a little more information about the OPI Cocoa Cola Collobration which will hit the UK this coming July "Nail brand OPI has collaborated with The Coca-Cola Company to launch Coca-Cola by OPI, featuring nine limited edition nail lacquers inspired by the Coca-Cola brands. The new range includes: Coca-Cola Red, a classic red inspired by Coca-Cola; You're So Vain-illa andSorry I'm Fizzy Today, a creamy nude and pink shade inspired by Vanilla Coke; Get Cherried Away, a black cherry shade inspired by Cherry Coke; Turn on the Haute Light, a shimmery silver shade inspired by Diet Coke; Today I Accomplished Zero, a black shade with a red sparkle inspired by Coke Zero; Green on the Runway, a lime green shade inspired by Sprite; A Grape Affair, a dark purple shade inspired by Fanta Grape; and Orange You Stylish, inspired by Fanta Orange. In addition, the lacquers will be available in a set of mini bottles along with a mini OPI Top Coat and a mini OPI Original Nail Envy. The main collection will be available in both nail lacquer and GelColor formulas."

As mentioned a few times today Brazil inspired products will be big news both this Summer and next, one collection that has me intrigued is L'Occitane Au Brasil which features an entire range of bath and body products in two scents: VITÓRIA RÉGIA and JENIPAPO, at the moment I don't know all that much other than I am intrigued and can't wait for it to launch.

Have a lovely evening.
