It is not often I come across a great primer come skin beautifier which can be used alone to even out the skin tone, blur imperfections and create a flawless complexion or under foundation for the same effect. The best part? It seems to work for most skin types and it is only a mere £12.50 for a whopping 40ml.
Step aside Benefit Porefessional...
No7 Brilliantly Bare Beauty Enhancer is a beauty revelation (no it really is), the texture is somewhat akin to Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch Primer - thick but easy to use and spread over the face. As with such product I do recommend a less is more approach. Despite having a dense texture No7 Brilliantly Bare Beauty Enhancer really does feel light on the skin, you quickly forget you have applied it at all. Yes it does contain silicones but it would ball and flake off the skin - a problem I have experienced in the past. I have found the best way to apply is to warm a little using your fingertips and apply that way. I found a brush wasted quite a lot of product.
So what does No7 Brilliantly Bare Beauty Enhancer do exactly? It is bizarre - this non-tinted balm reduces the appearance of pores, fine lines and oddly evens out the skin tone without as much as a hint of a tint. It is so clever - skin almost looks air brushed yet natural at the same time. For those like myself with oily skin you will be pleased to know that it controls excess sebum without drying out the skin. My complexion isn't all that great so it is very seldom that I will use this as a stand alone product - rather I like to layer this under my foundation to reduce the size of my pores, create a touchably smooth base and help prolong my foundation. All of which No7 Brilliantly Bare Beauty Enhancer does beautifully. You needn't worry about No7 Brilliantly Bare Beauty Enhancer affecting any product applied on top as in my experience it does not alter the finish of any foundation - it simply blurs imperfections creating a more even canvas. If like myself you find your skin becomes oily throughout the day you can apply a little of No7 Brilliantly Bare Beauty Enhancer on top of your foundation to quickly mattify.
Basically No7 Brilliantly Bare Beauty Enhancer is great skin in a bottle and I urge you to try it out.

ReplyDeletei have bought this product numerous times and love it. but found out today that they no longer stock it!!!! gutted!!! can you suggest an equally good alternative?
ReplyDeleteI've been searching all over for this product! Can't believe they've discontinued it when it could be sooo popular. They compare it to Benefit Porefessional so that's a good alternative for you - the price is more and you get less product though x
