Marc Jacobs Daisy Delight EDT

Like most I have a weakness for Marc Jacobs Daisy fragrances actually scratch that all Marc Jacobs scents.
The allure of the cutesy packaging is normally too much for me to resist and it doesn't hurt that the fragrances are forever divine. Each year I look forward to the limited edition Marc Jacobs Daisy editions as they are pretty much all I wear in terms of perfume all Summer long and this years edition doesn't disappoint...

As I said above the packaging of the majority of Marc Jacobs scents is the sweetest, okay the large lids are a bit of a nightmare to pop in your bag for fragrance top ups but isn't that what the likes of Travalo was made for? I won't lie I do display all my Marc Jacob Daisy fragrances on my dressing table - the big squishy floral lids brighten up my stark white interiors and let's face it who in the right mind would want to hide them out of sight?

So yes each Spring for the last three years or so Marc Jacobs launch two limited edition versions of their best selling Daisy Fragrances, for 2014 we have : Marc Jacobs Daisy Delight and Marc Jacobs Daisy Delight Eau so Fresh. Oddly I'm not the hugest fan of the original Daisy scent and it's strong violet note but the Marc Jacobs Daisy Delights I simply can't get enough. You see unlike their original counterparts the Marc Jacobs Daisy Delight versions have fruity, uplifting notes such as apple, quince flower, freesia, iris, gardenia and peony - it is certainly more floral than fruity this time around but still bright and cheery none the less. Nobody does light fruity florals quite like Marc Jacobs in my opinion (Escada come a close second) making either one of the new launches perfect for long, hazy Summer days. If you enjoyed last years Marc Jacobs Sunshine Editions then you will most certainly adore this.
