The Daily Beauty Report (04.04.14)

All the fours today, here is what is happening in the beauty world at the moment...

Caudalie will be launching a new anti-oxidant skincare range, Polyphenol C15, this will feature three products, each of which contains grape-seed polyphenols and vitamin C. The line up includes Caudalie Anti-Wrinkle Defense Serum which is said to corrects wrinkles and reinforces the skin's natural protective barrier. Their is also Caudalie Broad Spectrum SPF20 Anti-Wrinkle Protect Fluid which is said to be an oil-free anti-oxidant treatment which incorporates a broad-spectrum sunscreen to the skin and lastly Caudalie Anti-Wrinkle Eye and Lip Cream, a gel-cream to fight oxidation, wrinkles, dark circles and puffiness. Sounds exciting non? Look out for it launching later this month.

Two snippets of Lancome news, firstly Lupita Nyong'o has been announced as the new brand ambassador and the brands Summer collective will be dubbed Lancôme French Riviera Color Collection. Such collection includes a beautiful blue toned yet neutral palette, a bronzing palette and bright lips. I for one can't wait.

On the 30th of April Illamasqua will launch Cosmetic their Matte Lip Liquid which is basically a matte liquid lipstick. I for one can not wait as matte liquid lipsticks are a staple in my make-up bag. Their will be three shades to choose from or collect: Surrender (milky peach), Exotic (bright orange) and Forbidden (bright pink). If that is not enough two new shades of Illamasqua's newest blush formulation - Velvet Blush will become permanent additions to the brands core collection. The shades are: Flirtatious (peach) and Conviction (bright pink).

This coming June YSL Beauty will launch 11...yes 11 new eyeshadow palettes for Summer 2014. I don't know too much about the YSL Couture Palettes collection at the moment but what I can say is that there really is something for everyone, from brights to neutrals you can bet the brand has it covered!

I have mentioned in the past that Playboy Make Up is relaunching and above we finally have a sneak peek of what to expect. I'm not really sure why the brand is making a come back as I think it's time has been and gone and don't know anyone who would purchase this collection. I can recall a time when I would walk through the town centre and see the bunny logo everywhere and I mean everywhere but like I said those days are well past. "Playboy Cosmetics has unveiled a new make-up collection for the face, eyes, lips and nails. The new range comprises: Blushing Bunny, a multi-tonal blush bronzer, mixing bronze, with tan and pink shades in a leopard print design compact; Bronze Bunny, a bronzer in a warm matte shade; Kitten Eyes, a black liquid eye liner, featuring a long wand and thin brush for precision; Sleek Lashes, a black lengthening mascara; Playful Lashes, a black volumising mascara with a 3D effect;Perfect Kiss, a lipstick in a range of colours from pinks to reds and nudes to corals; and Nail Polishes, a 12 piece collection featuring six shades of pink and six glitters. £5.95-£12."
