MeMeMe Blush Me Boxed Blushes

Prizes for the best boxed blushes?
Easily in my book the MeMeMe Blush Me Boxed Blushes, no the colour range isn't as vast as some brands offerings but the formula is excellent so much so that I have repurchased two of the shades time and time again.

A quick note on the packaging - being boxed blushes they of course come in boxes (you wouldn't expect anything else) which are reinforced cardboard in design. I know not everyone is a fan of such material but rest assure they are well made. I own several Benefit boxed blushes and have found that over time they start to look a little grubby and worn yet that is not the case with the MeMeMe Blush Me Boxed Blushes. I have even got a MeMeMe Blush version a little damp (a bottle of water burst in my handbag) and yet it still looked as good as new and the contents was bone dry, impressive non? Each MeMeMe Blush Me Boxed Blush comes complete with a small stubby square brush much like the Benefit versions and a mirror so you have all you need for on the go applications.

The MeMeMe Blush Me Boxed Blushes come in four shades: Bronze - a mid toned, cool bronze shade that honestly works best as either a highlighter or eyeshadow. On fair skin this will look dirty if used as a bronzer but would be ideal for deeper complexions. Coral - my ultimate favourite, a bright orange come coral hue that reminds me of MAC's long gone Ripe Peach. I have bought at least three pans of this shade since the brand launched. Rouge - not a red, not a pink but a warm combination of both with a hint of coral, this reminds me of a toned down version of NARS Orgasm blush. Lastly we have Pink, a bright candy pink that looks rather scary in the pan yet is utterly flattering once applied, if you are a blonde trust me when I say you need this shade in your life. All four shades are shimmer based with Bronze being more of a metallic formulation, I don't find Coral, Rouge or Pink to be problematic in terms of enlarged pores and other minor skin imperfections but bronze if applied to my cheeks does highlight every little pore.

Like I said previously the MeMeMe Blush Me Boxed Blushes are my favourite brand for this category. Why? Simply they are so well formulated - great pigmentation, they wear for at least 8 hours on my overly oily skin even if I skip (a.k.a forget a primer) a primer, are reasonably priced and the majority of shades are flattering for all skin tones. I should also mention that one boxed blush will last you forever - I have yet to finish or hit pan on any of my MeMeMe Blush Me Boxed Blushes and have only replaced a few due to loosing them on my travels. My only grumble would be that the MeMeMe brand is not that well represented on the high street, if you are lucky enough to live near a large Superdrug store you will hopefully find them in there. If not you can order online.
