By Terry Cellularose Blush Glaze in Flower Sorbet

I spoke yesterday of how this purchase came about - long story short I was enabled by Laura from Buy Now/Blog Later. I was a little reluctant to hand over close to £40 for what I deemed another peachy coral blush to add to my already groaning stash but boy am I glad I did!

A blush of this nature does have to come in a pot of some description due to its texture but I will happily state that although the glass container screams sophistication it isn't all that practical, especially if you are a frequent traveller. Glass shatters pure and simple so if you are forever on the go I do recommend decanting a little into a plastic tub for piece of mind. Do keep the lid securely on your By Terry Cellularose Blush as being a cream it will evaporate and dry out over time. You should also know that the By Terry Cellularose Blush Glaze has a rose fragrance which would appease everyone, I'm not that keen on the but as it is on my cheeks it doesn't really affect me.

In the jar By Terry Cellularose Blush Glaze in Flower Sorbet appears to be shockingly bright and I wouldn't blame anyone for bypassing it based on that very reason. However I can assure you that once applied the end result is a sheer wash of colour that is beyond glowy and very, very beautiful. Being a coral fanatic I knew from the get go that Flower Sorbet would be the best shade for me - I can imagine it paired with a tan. Flower Sorbet within the jar is a bright almost yellow tinged orange but rest assure that once applied it becomes a light coral come peach flush. You can of course build the blush up in layers for a more full on application but in my opinion it works best as a sheer wash. This blush really does give a light from within glow without the need for shimmer of glitter making it suitable for all including those like myself with large pores.

Thinking about it calling By Terry Cellularose Blush a cream formula is a little unfair it is more of a gel, actually a cream come gel is more fitting. I like to think of them as watercolours for my cheeks. A whipped, super soft and smooth texture that feels weightless on the skin as well as cooling to some degree. I honestly can not think of a more perfect texture for the warmer months. To apply I fully recommend using your fingertips as the natural heat helps disperse the blush evenly onto the skin and encourages a more natural effect than I was able to create with a brush of any type. This blush will suit all skin types, it doesn't cling to dry areas nor does it succumb to the annoyance of excess sebum. With a primer I can achieve around 8 hours of wear, this is all I wanted from the vastly over hyped Josie Maran Coconut Watercolour Cheek Gelee. If you can bring yourself to fork out for a By Terry Cellularose Blush Glaze do it, you won't regret it.
