Weekly Favourites #28

This week past was a busy one for me - one of those weeks where I hardly had time to think let alone blog.
Needless to say my make-up favourites have had to be quick and easy as I was always on the go...

There hasn't been a day in the last week that has past in which I haven't reached for Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Radiant Touch Highlighting Concealer - it instantly brightens the under eyes (and anywhere else you apply it), doesn't crease and is basically worth every penny. The texture is light and creamy yet it covers my dark circles beautifully, it is safe to say I am a convert. Find it via Debenhams - link.

To set my make-up I have been rather enjoying Maybelline's Matte Maker Mattifying Powder which in my opinion is simply Maybelline's now discontinued Dream Matte Powder re-packaged. Finding a budget pressed powder that actually keeps oil at bay is easier said than done yet this powder does it with ease. I like that it doesn't oxidise, cake, look heavy or alter the finish of my foundation but it does prevent my problem areas from being coming shiny. It is also light enough to be used on the under eye area. It is now available via Boots for £3.99 (complete bargain) - link.

Although it pains me to use the beyond pretty Clinique Cheek Pops (look at that floral design isn't it cute?) there is no denying that the shade Ginger Pop has quickly become a staple in my make-up bag. It is a light warm coral that is matte but somehow adds radiance and a light glow to the face. Being a cream formulation it is hard to go wrong, heck you can even apply on the go! You can find all four shades here - link.

I've been trying out Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions Clinical Clearing Gel for quite some while now but this week was when I finally had an a-ha moment and saw the results - reap the rewards if you will. This nifty little gel not only exfoliates the skin but also soothes existing blemishes as well as preventing future breakouts from happening. I will level and say it takes a few weeks to work but it has been nothing short of wonderful for my blemish prone forehead. Find it via Boots - link.

Now that it is officially Spring I have been searching for the perfect light fragrance that is both fruity and floral and so far I'm sticking with Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh. In my opinion it is not really all that alike to the original Daisy scent and is much more fruity - it is so easy to wear and is great for day wear as it is so inoffensive. I'm hooked. Find it here via Debenhams - link.

What have you been enjoying this week?
