It's been all about the eyes this week...
I've been gushing to all that will listen about how wonderful Garnier Express 2 in 1 Eye Make-Up Remover, a dual phase cleanser that quickly and effectively removes all eye make-up even waterproof mascara without being oily or harsh. Honestly at £3.49 it is the best budget eye make-up remover I have ever used and even upstages a good number of high end versions out of the water. Find it via Superdrug - link.
My other eye picks are Nuxe Crème Prodigieuse Contour Des Yeux Prodigieux - Anti Fatigue Moisturising Eye Cream, a mouthful yes but a great multi-purpose eye cream. It lightly hydrates my eye area without agitating my milia and as it has a brightening quality it helps to perk up the under eye area and banish dark circles. At £18.50 it really is a great find but at the moment you can save up to 1/3 on French skin care via Escentual. This is down to £12.33 - link. I am still obsessed with Make Up Forever's Smoky Lash Mascara - it lengthens, curls and just does wonders for my sparse eye lashes. I am somewhat panicking about what I will do when it dries out!
I have been so impressed with Topshop Nails in All I Need is Aniseed - a deep but bright cranberry red that only requires one coat for full on glossy opaque nails. Topshop make-up is pretty hard to beat for the price and at £5 a bottle I will be purchasing more of the Topshop Nails Nail Polishes in the future. Find All I Need is Aniseed via Topshop - link.
Lastly I can not recommend the new MAC Prep + Prime CC Colour Correcting Loose Powders enough. I have been using Neutralize which is a soft yellow powder that not only brightens the skin but also colour corrects - this shade banishes signs of redness. I rate this so much higher than the infamous Ben Nye Banana Powder - MAC's version is softer both in finish and colour and also blurs imperfections. If loose powder isn't your thing MAC also offer their four new CC powders in pressed form too! Find them here - link.
