Weekly Favourites

I'm glad this week is over, it's been one of those stressful weeks with so much on but I won't complain (too much) as I had a wonderful lie in this morning ha! Anyway here is what I have been enjoying for the last few days...

Can I confess my love for OPI? Sure I can it's my blog. I have decided to stop frequenting nail bars and paint my own nails (it's a hard life) and truthfully I find OPI's Nail Lacquers hard to beat. Classic shades that wear well and let's be honest a bottle lasts forever. My current go to shade is OPI Barefoot in Barcelona - a lovely rich easy to wear nude that compliment everything I wear. You can find it here - link.

Admittedly I have spent most of the week in the dentist chair so lipstick hasn't been high on my agenda but the few nights I went out for dinner etc I have either reached for Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipstick in 09 Orange Pop-Up - a bright, creamy orange based coral that works beautifully with simple eye make-up and lots of bronzer. Find it here - link. For everyday wear I have been relying on my trusty Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Complex which is a super easy honey based nude hue that I slick on and forget about. I will be investing in more of the Revlon Colorburst Matte Balms that is for sure. Find it here - link.

On my cheeks I have been enjoying MAC Stereo Rose MSF which was just re-launched last week. It gives my skin a wonderful rosy pink come coral glow that again goes with pretty much any make-up look. I was kicking myself for ordering this as I already own a version from 2012 but the 2014 re-launch is a lot different in colour. Lesson learned. You can find it via Selfridges - link. In an aim to use more neglected products I have dusted of Rihanna's Diamonds Cream Colour Base from one of her MAC collections. I forgot how beautiful this cream product is as a subtle but glowy highlight on the top of my cheekbones. If you have really oily skin I would recommend trying out MAC's Cream Colour Bases (I recommend Pearl if you are looking to dupe Diamonds) as they do not budge. You can find it here - link.
