The Daily Beauty Report 31.03.14

Can you believe tomorrow is April the 1st, brace yourself April Fools is a coming and apparently so are the puns. Here is what happening in the beauty world at the moment...

Oh mama (does anyone recall the cartoon Johnny Bravo? No. Just me. Okay then.) the neon collection for Summer - Essie Too Taboo has me drooling! Six new and utterly bold shades that in my opinion knocks the yearly neon China Glaze collection out of the water. The six shades are as follows: Too Taboo (neon pink), Chills and Thrills (neon purple come blue), Vices Versa (neon green), I'm Addicted (bright neon turquoise), Sittin' Pretty (neon lilac) and Serial Shopper (neon peach). Sign me up for one of each please.

Apparently MAC Proenza Schouler Collection has been put back a month in the UK (and maybe elsewhere too) until May but fear not the MAC Patent Lip Pencils will launch in a matter of days. "The colour and shine of a gloss, the precision of a lip pencil. You can a luscious shine with a single swipe.” Available in 12 shades which includes neutral, bights and all that is in-between, you are going to want at least one of these pencils when they launch.

Tom Ford Beauty Summer 2014 is beyond words, having seen very preliminary products in person let me be the one to tell you that you are going to want the eye and cheek palette. Five shades which lean mostly neutral with a pop of bright cobalt blue which will make being a beach babe that little easier. Lord knows I need all the help I can get.

Guerlain has announced four new additions to their Guerlain Super Aqua range: Super Aqua Day Creme, a nourishing day moisturiser for dry to normal skin, Super Aqua Day Gel, Super Aqua Night Balm, Super Aqua BB+ Hydra.

How cool is this? "Fresh, handmade cosmetic brand LUSH has today announced the opening of the LUSH Kitchen, a new concept for delivering cosmetics to customers. The new kitchen will create small batches of limited edition products daily, to be purchased exclusively online. For the first time, fans of LUSH will be able to see the inner workings of the factory, seeing how each product is made. Each product will be sent out on the day they are created, with customers being able to view real-time updates from behind the scenes activity, including special events and expert Q&A's streamed live through its new website, also launching today. The new website will showcase the brand's stories, products, ingredients, ethics and campaigning."

Zoe Saldana has been named the new face of L'Oreal Paris. I for one think she is a perfect fit.

Have a lovely evening everyone.
