The Daily Beauty Report (29.02.14)

Apologies that it has been a few days since my last beauty report update but the truth is I didn't feel there was much worth mentioning until today. So without further ado here is what we have to look forward to in the beauty world...
On the 1st of April MAC By Request 2014 will launch and will include three limited edition lipsticks MAC Glam, MAC Hoop and MAC Pink Poodle, with the same shades being available in MAC's Lipglass formulation too. There will also be three eyeshadows: MAC Diesel, MAC Fiction and MAC Butterscotch. I believe the eyeshadows will launch on the 3rd rather than the 1st and the entire line is exclusive to MAC Cosmetics online.

Nicol Richie will launch her second fragrance  - Nicole Richie No Rules which has been inspired by the clashing prints of the 1960's and 1970's. It is said to be exotic and bohemian a little like Nicole, it will feature notes of Mediterranean orange blossom, elderberry, sweet Turkish almond blossom and fresh kumquat to name a few. I have no idea if this will hit the UK but I do think it sounds wonderfully fresh and very summer appropriate.

To celebrate the launch of The Amazing Spiderman 2 Revlon will launch a collection of multi-chrome nail polishes which will be limited edition. The packaging is very Halloween-esque but the shades are rich, luxurious and would be perfect for the end of Summer. You can read more and see swatches here - link.

Fans of Carmex may be pleased to learn that Carmex will be launching a new fragrance to their ever expanding lip care collection: Carmex Jasmine Green Tea. Look out for it hitting your local Topshop this coming April.

Another April launch comes from Sleek MakeUP who will release both a new bronzing palette - Bronze Block and the limited edition Del Mar Volume 1 i-Divine eye palette. The Bronze Block's will come in two shades (Light and Dark) and feature four blocks of colour which can be combined or used separately. The Del Mar Volume i-Divine palette was inspired by Ibiza and features 12 shades. Get them while you can via Superdrug this April...see you at the till!

Lastly calling all glitter bugs Urban Decay have just unveiled a new collection of their Heavy Metal Glitters and the best part is that they are only £10 each. Six shimmering shades for the eyes and face that stay in place thanks to the UD Bondage adhesive. They are exclusive to selected Debenhams stores. My postman has only just been and oddly delivered all six shades so look out for more information and swatches tomorrow.

Have a lovely evening everyone.
