You may be aware that Birchbox have teamed forces with Lulu Guinness to create a one off beauty box for the month of March 2014. If you don't want any spoilers I suggest you do not scroll any further but want this box you can order it here -link. Use the code New14 for free p&p!
Now for those who do want a spoiler or two...
Here is what is inside the box all of which is sample size (minus the sweet treat):
Benefit Stay Don't Stray - an eye lid primer that also conceals the lids to s light degree. Although dinky in size I would guesstimate that there is at least a month of daily use which isn't bad going. I have tried Benefit Stay Don't Stray in the past and liked it, I do still prefer Urban Decay's Primer Potions. Benefit have also included a coupon within the box for a free make over and to try the new Gimme Brow product.
Dr Brant Pores No More Pore Refiner - a light but silky and some what menthol scented pore refining product which is the only product within this box that I am considering purchasing in full size. Unlike other products of this type it glides on to the skin, disguises pores with ease and doesn't flake or crumble. It also keeps any area it is applied to matte and doesn't feel as silicone laden as the likes of Benefit Porefessional. A really great product that I will be investigating and investing in soon.
Korres Citrus Body Milk - I'm not sure there is much to say, although a citrus scent this is quite refreshing and almost manly in fragrance. I adore Korres products but don't tend to use body lotion which this is albeit a lighter and quicker drying formulation. If you only require a light body moisturiser and want something that smells great but is quickly absorbed this is the one.
Aroma Works Nurture Body Oil - I'll level with you I haven't actually tested this, although I enjoy facial oils and the odd bath oil I tend to avoid body oils in the Winter months. The scent does remind me a little of Aromatherapy Associates Deep Relax so it would be perfect for those who find it difficult to unwind.
English Laundry No.7 for Her - What a beautiful sunny fragrance, it really reminds me of a hot Summers day with a breeze - how specific I know. It's creamy and fruity yet not sickly sweet. I am a fan! Notes include pear, jasmine, gardenia, vanilla and sandalwood. In my opinion the pear and vanilla notes prevail.
Lastly each box comes with a stick of rock which represents traditional sweet shops that have inspired Lulu Guinness' Spring/Summer '14 collection. How cute!
