Barry M Aquarium Nail Paint Collection

For all those that dreamed as a child of being a mermaid you may want to get your mitts on the new Barry M Aquarium Nail Paint Collection. Five aquatic based nail paints that will let you channel your inner Ariel in a subtle sense.

Barry M Aquarium Nail Paint Collection features glittering golds, beautiful aqua come blue hues and a warm russet duo chrome polish. In my mind the gold shades represent glistening sand or if you have a vivid imagination treasure at the bottom of the sea, the blues obviously tie in wonderfully with the aquatic theme and lastly the pink gold polish is as close to a sunset on your nails as you'll ever get. Well played Barry M...well played.

Here's a quick run down of the Barry M Aquarium Nail Paint Collection: Shade 1 is called Mermaid and is a chunky glitter top coat featuring a medley of blue, gold and green glitter chunks. Shade 2 - Treasure Chest is again a glitter top coat featuring chunky glitter particles in gold and rose gold hues. Shade 3 - Caspian is a difficult one to pin point it is a glorious foil finish polish that essentially is a light pale gold but in certain lights that reflects rose gold. There is two more foil nail paints within this collection: Shade 4 - Mediterranean a rose gold polish that reflects pink, gold and even red in some lights and Shade 5 Arabian a bright aqua green that glimmer blue, gold and green depending on how the light bounces of the nails. There is a sixth shade that is more of an olive green foil shade but I do not have that.

You will be pleased to know that all five of the polishes apply well particularity the three foil shades - two quick coats and the nails are fully opaque and I wouldn't deem the formula to be slow drying either. The glitter top coats obviously aren't opaque and to get the best coverage from each I do recommend dabbing them on to the nails rather than using usual typical brush strokes.
