Thierry Mugler Alien Eau Extraordinare Eau de Toilette

Regular readers of this blog will know that Thierry Mugler Alien is my go to fragrance - I have worn it since I was around 18 and will continue to do so for as long as they make it. Each time I post about such scent I normally receive a few comments stating that most rather like this fragrance but wish there was something a little less intense. Well today your wish is my command...

Launching on the 27th of this month is Thierry Mugler Alien Eau Extraordinare Eau de Toliette which of course borrows notes from the original Alien scent but is much more delicate and fresh and has been created to convey a message of joy and happiness, charged with positive energy - perfect for what has become a long energy zapping winter. The new bottle has been created to mimic a gemstone and has been inspired by the marquise (Marquise de Pompadour) cut - bright and energy charged.

As mentioned above this will smell familiar to most as it does contain some of the well know original Alien notes along with new softer additions such as Tunisian neroli combined with tea and bergamot as top notes. The heart notes are equally gentle with exotic Tiare flower warmed with deep, warm and sensual aromas of white amber. It truly is beautiful and crisp - it reminds me of freshly washed linen and the first blooms of Spring. It is such an inoffensive scent that I can't see anyone not enjoying this offering and of course it is perfect for those who like the original Alien fragrances but found them to be a little too heavy.

Thierry Mugler Alien Eau Extraordinare Eau de Toilette will launch on the 27th of Febuary £50-£68
