Before the weekend begins here is what is happening in the beauty world today...

Priced at just £5 each, the Speckled Egg collection launches exclusively in all UK Bottleshops from March 8th, online at modelsownit.com on March 12th (as part of a NEW 6 for £20 mix and match special offer - coming soon!), in Superdrug from March 12th and in Boots from March 19th.
Today Illamasqua launched their Glamore collection, I see it as a modern take on retro beauty "Immerse yourself in a world of timeless textures, bold shades and strong definition. It’s Glamore, in all its glory." The collection includes three new lipsticks and three new nail polishes with a completely different finish than anything the brand have offered up until now - Shattered Star Nail Varnish. I have a few samples which I will share tomorrow but you can shop the entire collection here - link.
"Rimmel London have unveiled Urban Bohemian -a new collaborative collection with British supermodel Kate Moss. The new range features Lasting Finish Lipstick, which is infused with light-reflective black diamond and black mica to increase colour depth and intensity. It will be available in five new shades: Rose, Red, Plum, Pink and Nude. The Salon Pro with Lycra Nail Polish, created by Kate, forms a glossy, gel salon finish. Shades are said to include: Goddess (nude), Seduce (purple), Nymph (teal) and Bewitch (deep green). The collection is complemented by a range of Kate Shadow Sticks, offering long-lasting eye colour, with a smooth illuminating formula, available in four shades - Deep Amethyst, Pure Turquoise, Rose Gold and Electric Sapphire." This collection will launch on march the 14th.
One Direction will be launching a second fragrance That Moment which is limited edition and said to contain some of the original notes from Our Moment with new notes of of green apple and violet.
Nicole by OPI will launch a four piece textured nail collection dubbed Roughles Texture which features an array of pastel hues that dry to an almost sand like finish. I have to be truthful and say that I don't understand why brands are so keen to keep pushing this sand texture effect when I have yet to see a rave review. That aside they should be in Superdrug this coming March.
This week a new fragrance brand- Londoner which has been created by Rebecca Goswell, launched in Harvey Nichols. The unisex range of fragrances comprises four scents each based on a London location: W1X, with notes of mandarin, white jasmine and vanilla; N6, a soft and fruity scent with peach, rose and patchouli; SE1, with notes of aniseed, cardamom and sea moss; and EC2, a masculine scent containing notes of lemon, juniper berry and tonka bean. Pretty cool huh?
