The Daily Beauty Report (27.02.14)

The Daily Beauty Report (27.02.14)

Apologies that it has been a little quite on the blog today, I was having a minor gum operation this morning and being a lazy sod I spent the afternoon sleeping off the anaesthetic. Things will be back to normal tomorrow but until then here is some snippets of beauty news...

Launching in March is the limited edition Deborah Lippmann Two of Hearts collection which features a bottle of Candy Shop and Shape of My Heart is miniature form complete with a limited edition glitter bag is inspired by the "bubblegum pink” nail lacquer Candy Shop. Each bag is adorned with the custom glitter combination found in the nail lacquer. Gah I want it so much, just for the bag truth be told. It will be £19 and will be found in Selfridges, Harrods and Look Fantastic.

Benefit cosmetics has teamed up with Debenhams and Look Good Feel Better to offer free, brow-shaping services (usually £11.50) at Benefit Brow Bars in 50 Debenhams stores nationwide, throughout the month of March. Customers can have their brows preened and shaped for a minimum donation of £5 to Look Good Feel Better, a charity which offers make-up workshops and master classes to help women combat the visible side-effects of cancer treatment. Such a worthy cause.

How beautiful is the Cargo Spring Tea Palette as spotted over on The Muse's site if you like cream formulated eyeshadows this may be up your street. Read all the details here - link.

Come March (which is literally days away) Orla Kiely will unveiled her second bath and body range - Bergamot. All products within the collection are free from sulphates, parabens, petrochemicals and artificial colourings.

March's Birchbox box is a collaborationwith Lulu Guinness to mark Lulu Guinness's 25th anniversary and will feature beauty and lifestyle products chosen by the designer herself. It is said that i will include a Lulu Guinness lifestyle guide and gift card, as well as five deluxe samples from brands Benefit Cosmetics and Dr Brandt. All current Birchbox subscribers will receive the Lulu Guinness Box, as well as those who subscribe before 31 March. I'm tempted to purchase this box truth be told, you can find more details and purchase it here - link.

Today Jessica Lange has been announced as the face of Marc Jacobs beauty (seriously when is this coming line coming to the UK?) and Charlotte Rampling has been announced as the face of Nars.
