The Daily Beauty Report (15.02.14)

I didn't think I'd have much to write about in terms of new releases until London Fashion Week passed but I was wrong...

Firstly six new shades of Bobbi Brown's Foundation sticks will be joining the permanent line up in March, I haven't personally used the formula but they do get rave reviews. A friend of mine swears by them for contouring so I may investigate.

Essie nail shades have been all over the NYC runways for fashion week and most likely this will be the case in London too. The good news for us in the UK is that Essie Resort is set to go in store in a matter of days and I for one will be snagging at least two of the beautiful Spring ready shades.

Did you miss out on Laura Mercier's Artist Palette around the festive period, the good news is that it will be back in the UK come March. Get it while you can as it truly is a thing of beauty!

On March the 1st NARS will launch a collection of matte NARS Multiples and from what I have read the will be permanent (that could be wrong so do feel free to correct me), there will be seven shades in total: Altai (rose bronze), Anguilla (ginger pink), Cappadoce (bronze), Exumas (apricot), Laos ( coral) Siam (bright red), Vientiane (copper). I can safely say that the coral shades will find their way into my stash.

While we are on the topic of NARS the brand will be refocussing on their Orgasm products (yes I cringed when I typed that). As nothing is limited edition I personally wouldn't rush out and purchase anything but there is a reason that it is NARS' best selling blush shade - it truly is flattering and a shade I use frequently.

Lastly if you are jetting off any time soon Givenchy have just launched a travel exclusive (meaning you can only purchase this in selected airports) fragrance - Givenchy Reve d'Escapade which is limited edition. It is said to be a fruity floral with notes of sweet peach and rose.

Have a lovely weekend everyone.
