Before we put up our feet and enjoy the weekend here is what is happening in the beauty world today...

Soft & Gentle have had a make over for 2014 and will be available exclusively in nine fragrances with three new scents including Orange Blossom and Grapefruit, Pear & Cotton Flower and Pink Grapefruit, which is an ASDA exclusive. Don't they look pretty?

Next week L'Oréal Paris will be launching two new collections: Color Riche Les Blancs Collection (the pretty pastels above) and a new range of Color Riche Top Coats. The four shades within the Les Blancs Collection are said to be inspired by SS14 pastel hues and include the following shades: Lemon Meringue, Nouvelle Vague, Pistachio Drage and Peach Neglige. The new Color Riche Top Coats are: Tweeds (Jackie and Coco), Gold Leaf and Disco Ball. All the polishes will be £4.99 each.

Three new Gianni Versace Couture fragrances will hit Versace boutiques and selected stores (in the UK Harrods have exclusivity) each of which come presented within leather packaging to reflect the notes in each blend. The three scents are: Gianni Versace Couture Violet (notes of violet, mimosa, musk, heliotrope),Gianni Versace CoutureTuberose (notes of tuberose, almonds, ambrox) and Gianni Versace Couture Jasmine (jasmine, ylang-ylang, rose, benzoin) at over £100 per bottle it is a case of a girl can only dream in my instance. Sigh.

In April Ralph Lauren Midnight Romance will launch which is said to be the older, more sophisticated version of the original Ralph Lauren Romance fragrance and will contain notes of raspberry, litchi, Italian bergamotpeony, sambac jasmine, freesia, black vanilla, ambroxan and iris absolute. It does sound delicious and one I will be seeking out in duty free...a girl's got to save a few pennies eh.

Lancome will be launching their Dual Finish Versatile Powder make-up later this month which is said to be a powder which can be applied dry or damp and can be used as a powder or foundation. I love a good multi-tasker and anything that can get me one step closer to looking anything remotely like Penelope Cruz has my vote.

To celebrate Chinese New Year YSL have launched a limited edition blush which is also a collectors edition. "YSL’s iconic Blush Radiance No 6 is adorned with delicate jewel details inspired by the open-back floral design of one of Yves Saint Laurent’s most emblematic dresses. The 2 in 1 blush and highlighter combines different shades and finishes for a made-to measure make-up." You can find it here - link

Have a lovely weekend everyone!
