By Terry Hyaluronic Hydra Powder

Every now and then a product comes along and knocks my socks off, so much so that I genuinely become giddy writing up my review and today is one of those days. By Terry Hyaluronic Hydra Powder may not be cheap but if you want a picture perfect complexion this is the one...the one!

There's not much to say about the packaging of By Terry Hyaluronic Hydra Powder it is essentially like any other loose powder out there - a large screw top jar with an inbuilt sifter. Now at £42 this powder does not come cheap but you do get g and as a little goes a long way I would hazard a guess that if used daily you would get anything from 6 months to a year of use per tub.

I know what you are thinking "£42 for a loose powder you must be mad"! Yes I am because now I am utterly hooked - I can hand on heart say that I will undoubtedly repurchase this powder time and time again as nothing and I mean nothing blurs enlarged pores like it. I'm not a Kim Kardashian fan but will hold my hands up and say that I often wondered how she achieves airbrushed skin even in real time, my sneaky feeling is that she too uses this. I kid you not once dusted on the skin pores and even fine lines disappear in a jiffy. If I had found this powder in the past I would have saved myself a pretty penny or two in primers that is for sure.

As you can see By Terry Hyaluronic Hydra Powder is of course translucent and has the safe fine milled texture and light weight almost cooling sensation that I find is present in almost every HD Powder. Much like other powders of this type it can leave a white cast on the skin if not fully buffered into the skin (I find a flat top brush works best). What sets this aside is the blurring aspect, it works so much better than any pore filling primer I have thrown money at in the past as well as setting your make-up in one quick step. My only criticism is that it isn't all that wonderful when it comes to oil control which is most certainly down to the fact it contains hyaluronic acid to hydrate the skin. For those like myself who suffer from oily skin I recommend either teaming with an oil control primer or dusting a separate powder on oily areas. Having said that it does leave the skin matte and in my instance signs of oiliness only creep in after 8 hours of wear so all in not a loss.

It is love, pricey, pricey love.
