Boujies London Indian Vetiver Candle

As many will know I have a weak spot for candles which almost (okay does) borderlines on obsessive. I was lucky enough to be recently introduced to Boujies London who are independent perfumers, luxury candle makers and modern alchemists, founded in London’s fashionable Spitalfields market in 2009. Their vision is to re-discover the natural artistry of British perfumery and to develop a range of luxury fragrances, made in England which have been inspired by nature. I however dub them the Tom Ford of the candle world and here is why...

The packaging of all of the Boujies London products has a masculine yet ultra modern come industrial feel that just screams cool yet is oddly feminine at the same time. The candles remind me of little miniature paint tins each of which comes complete with an air tight lid that in my instance had to be "jimmied" off with a knife. Each time I look at my Boujies London candle I can't help but feel it would be more at home in a loft space in an uber cool location such as London or of course the ultimate dream New York City (one day...one day!).

Despite what the packaging may suggest the Boujies London Candles are reasonable priced at £14 each and come in seven different fragrances. I have been trying out Indian Vetiver and Black Dahlia both of which are strong almost peppery fragrances which are very much unisex. In my Copinion they are deep and sensual and have a slight air of Tom Ford fragrance about them namely Black Orchid. They feel, look and smell expensive and help me pretend that I live somewhere glamorous while flicking through the pages of the latest Vogue which can never be a bad thing.
