Stila Color Me Pretty Lip and Cheek Palette

Typically speaking I'm not one for make-up palettes unless they are eyeshadow based but my saving grace for the last few weeks has been Stila Color Me Pretty Lip and Cheek Palette. Five cream based shades that suit every complexion with a handy cream highlighter all presented in a pretty tin - what more could a girl ask for?

Now would be a good time to mention that all five shades within the Stila Color Me Pretty Lip and Cheek Palette are Stila convertible lip and cheek colours, yay for dual purpose products! Each little pan (they aren't as dinky as you'd imagine) may be firm in texture but they do produce great colour pay off and can be build up or sheered out depending on your preference. I find that one applied they settle to a natural matte finish which does not dry out the lips nor does it highlight enlarged pores, fine lines or dry skin patches all the while being light on the skin resulting in a comfortable wear experience. I find the Stila Convertible Colors to be really easy to apply, for the lips you can simply dab on using your finger tips or use a lip brush for precision. For the cheeks again you can dot on using the finger tips and then blend out which is my preferred method or using a stipple brush. In terms of wear it lasts around 2 hours on my lips and 6 hours on my cheeks before signs of wear set in but do keep in my mind that my oily skin does effect wear time.

As you can see there is five shades of Stila's now infamous Convertible Color formula within this palette, one of which is limited edition and exclusive to this palette and that is Kitten - a light shimmering champagne hue which has been based on Stila's best selling eyeshadow of the same moniker. Speaking of best sellers this kit also includes Stila Peony (a rose tinged nude - see my full review here - link) as well as a coral in the form of Petunia, a muted red pink (rose) and last but not least a suit all peach in the form of Gerbera. If you like multi-purpose products or enjoy cream blushes make sure you snap this palette up before it disappears forever...you won't regret it promise.
