It has been over a fortnight since I last posted a weekly favourite post - simply put I wasn't digging anything enough to share and was stuck in a make-up rut. However I am back this week with a handful of newly found favourites some of which you may find hard to pass up. Sorry not sorry.
A light weight aerosol hair oil? Yes really and seriously why has it taken the beauty world so long to produce something of this kind? It truly is genius and a great addition to any hair care routine. Scwarzkopf got2b Oil-Licious Dry Oil Mist may have a toe curling, cringe inducing name but it is a marvellous product that not only combats frizz, lack lustre hair but also mists the hair with a fine veil of moisture. I personally use it at night time before hair wash day - spray all over my hair roots to tips and allow it to work its magic overnight.
Find it via Superdrug for £2.99 - link.
As a huge fan of the Healgel franchise it will come as little surprise for many to learn that I truly adore their eye cream. A light weight almost gel formulation that doesn't irritate my somewhat sensitive eyes yet helps combat not only the signs of ageing but also puffiness and dark circles. Oh but that is not all it absorbs immediately making it the perfect base for make-up. At £32 it is not cheap but a little goes a long way, find it here - link.
Speaking of my eyes I am afraid that I have succumbed to the hype that is the Naked 3(read my full review here - link) palette and will happily admit that it is all I have used on my peepers since it has arrived. Yes it is far from ground breaking but as all the shades are super easy to wear and apply I really can't complain. Hey if it ain't broke don't fix it. Find it via the House of Fraser for £37 - link.
Although not the most exciting blush from the NARS Guy Bourdin launch I have been teaming my neutral eye make-up with a subtle pop of colour in the form of NARS Exhibit A Blush which admittedly I never thought I would buy let alone use. With a light hand this gives a pretty coral glow to the cheeks and just goes to show that risks do pay off. You can find it here with 25% via ASOS - link.
Last but not least I've been spreading a little festive cheer with Nails Inc Marylebone Lane Special Effects Nail Polish - this beautiful full on red glitter polish couldn't be more suited for Christmas if it tried. It also doesn't hurt that it dries quickly and is opaque in a few coats. Winning. Find it here - link.
What have you been enjoying this week past?
- Post contains both press samples and products purchased by myself.
I'm currently using HealGel Eye and I think it is lovely :) I'm so tempted by Naked 3 but I really don't need any more eye shadows.

That blush is scary looking at first glance!
ReplyDeleteI want naked 3 but am going to wait a while until I've actually made a showable dent into my naked 1 and 2 shadows.

Never heard of the HealGel before, and as much as I try to finish the eye creams I have currently, I really can't help but think about getting HealGel Eye and add it to my collection :). Seriously too tempting!

The oil spray looks really good! I'm not a fan of having to rub oil through my hair so a spray sounds perfect! :)

A friend of mine bought me the naked palette 3 and surprised me with it in university last Thursday, I still haven't used it worried about wasting it on my terrible attempt of eyemakeup, It used to be my favourite thing to do but since my sights deteriorating rapidly I end up looking like a clown of late! Love exhibit A though bought my sister it as part of her christmas present hope she likes it!
