MAC RiRi Hearts Holiday RiRi Woo Nail Lacquer

I feel like such a kill joy when I say I'm more than over the MAC RiRi Hearts products, I guess I feel like it has been really dragged out and I think the majority of us would have been satisfied with the one largish collection? However that is of course just my grumble, I'm sure others utterly loved the four part dynasty.
If you are eagerly awaiting the MAC RiRi Hearts Holiday (Christmas) Collection 2013 then the dates for your diary (UK only) are as follows: the collection will launch exclusively on the 5th of December via Selfridges and then launch via MAC, Debenhams and the House of Fraser on the 12th.

Before the launch I was lucky enough to be gifted the MAC RiRi Hearts RiRi Woo Nail Lacquer which truthfully is one of the best red nail polishes I have encountered. It is a beautiful old school true red, think old school glamour and this is the red that will spring to mind. Now don't get me wrong this will be a very easy shade to dupe as it isn't anything special in that aspect but the formulation is astounding. It is one of the few polishes that I have tested that is opaque in one coat - opaque yes but not fully perfect so you may want to apply a second coat or a gel top coat. It applies smoothly despite having a thick crème like texture, dries quickly with a glossy finish and is generally a joy to apply. Although I don't feel I'm best equipped to comment on wear time as I ruin all manicures within hours (no joke) but I managed to get two days of wear chip free which is fairly rare in my case - that was without a top coat too.

Look out for this launching in December especially if red nail polish is on your radar.
