Lily Flame Candles

I know Christmas is all but over and the majority of us are fighting over the last few good sweets in the tub and planning how to shift those extra pounds gained over the festive period. Each year as part of a family tradition I and my siblings get to open a Christmas Eve present and in my generous bundle along with slippers and the obligatory pyjamas I found a scrumptiously scented candle from Lily Flame. Admittedly very few readers will be looking for a Christmas based candle at the moment but I thought my thoughts on the scent throw etc would maybe come in helpful for some?

Lily Flame Candles

If the packaging of my Lily Flame candle looks familiar may be due to the fact that I have purchased and featured a good few candles from Bomb Cosmetics who sell very similar candles - presentation, size, price and style. So it may be even less surprising for you to learn that in terms of fragrance throw again Lily Flame remind me of Bomb Cosmetics - strong in that you only have to burn the candle for a few minutes for it to work its magic. You don't even have to light the candle for the fragrance to fill a room simply remove the lid for a delicate wax diffuser of types. If you are a little wary of strong scents I wouldn't let this put you off as although intense it is not overpowering nor will it cause a headache (nothing worse).

I was gifted (from my Mother not a company) the scent It's Christmas (if you say that in a Noddy Holder voice you are a-okay with me) which is a fruity but spicy fragrance. To my nose it is a little reminiscent of Christmas Cake - great for burning on Christmas day etc but not an all year round option in my book. My sister however received Silent Night which is really similar to Avon's Sleeptherapy Pillow Mist and one I recommend for those like myself  who find it difficult to nod off.

Basically if you like Bomb Cosmetics candles or enjoy cutesy but wonderfully scented candles then Lily Flame is a brand worth investigating. You can find lots of Lily Flame candles (£8.99), diffusers and more via John Lewis - link. I have my eye on Bluebell Forest, Blush and Fairy Dust.
