Each year I construct a list of products I hope of owning sooner or later (usually on paper) and hope that they will sneak into the January sales. As you can see from my above picks that is less than likely but a girl can dream!
1, I do have a substantial perfume collection but one scent I am forever testing out and have yet to purchase has to be the original Stella McCartney - Stella Eau de Parfum Spray. This is such a classic fragrance that you have more likely detected on others and wondered what it was. Stella is a blend of peony and rose and one I urge you to try out for yourself. You can find it via Escentual for £32-£55.19 - link.
2, I'm a huge fan of Malin and Goetz's Dark Rum EDT and I have seen numerous reviews hailing their skin care line as some of the best spot busting products out there. I have nothing specific in mind what I plan on purchasing from such line but rather have made a mental note to explore the brand in 2014. You can view the entire line via Liberty - link.
3, At the moment I have a huge thing for the colour baby blue and since spotting the Sigma Mrs Bunny Collection it has consumed my thoughts. At £119 it is far from cheap but it does contain 12 full sized HD brushes as well as a cool container to keep them safe. I doubt I will fork out the money any time soon but you never know stranger things have happened. You can find this kit via Cloud10Beauty - link.
4, 2014 will be the year I reign in the candle purchases but I would be lying if I said that this Bella Freud Ginsberg is God candle is not taunting me. The scent is said to be Fig Leaf and Tomato to capture the fresh and natural fragrance of the Mediterranean. Doesn't that sound dreamy? You can find it via Space.NK - link.
5, Okay, okay a second candle is a little contradictory but hear me out. Newly launched is the Just Like Sunday collection and I simply have to own the Sweet Almond and Macaroon Home Candle which is said to be a blend of delectable macaroon, sweet almond and creamy coconut, rich with cherries and softened by vanilla. Yum! You can find it via House of Fraser - link.
6, Another Jo Malone collection teasing me is the Jo Malone London Rain line up - four fragrances each blended to mimic various rainy times be it a dark thunder storm at night or the fresh morning dew. All four are limited edition and set to launch in March 2014. Well worth the wait in my opinion.
7, I have been bitten by the Tom Ford bug sure the products are pricey but they don't come much more luxurious than this brand that is for sure. Currently topping my lust list is Tom Ford's lipstick in Blush Nude - link and Tom Ford's blush in Flush - link annoyingly both products when bought together will set me back nearly £100. Ouch.
What products are you hoping to own in 2014?
I received that Jo Malone candle for Christmas and boy is it sweet! One of those that scents an entire room without even being burnt. Hope you had a very Merry Christmas Adrienne xx
ReplyDeleteI've had Stella on a number of occasions and I love it! It's not a permanent fixture in my perfume collection but I like to get it once every few years :)
ReplyDeleteI really want to try a Jo Malone candle, I might treat myself to one in the new year.. it's between Jo Malone, Diptyque and Neom!

The sigma brushes have been on my wishlist for so long and I still don't have them!

Tom Ford is on my wish list as well! His packaging and quality are just lovely. However, I cant exactly justify spending that much on a single lipstick right now haha. The Charlotte Tilbury line kind of reminds me of his, but I cannot find a website that ships to Canada without some insane amount of Duty on it!
ReplyDeleteI have too many products on my wishlist for 2014 to mention every single one of them but the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer, Nars Douceur blush and the Clarins Instant Light Lip Perfector are on the top of my wish list for sure. :) I'm also lusting over a Tom Ford blush in the shade Love Lust. But the price. Oh the price. My purse is weeping.
ReplyDeleteJo Malone is on my wishlist for next year aswell, absolutely love the candles & perfumes but they are just a bit out of budget over Christmas lol :)

I 100% recommend Stella! I may or may not have 7 bottles of it :')

don't waste your money on the sigma kit, even my sigma f80 and f25 broke on me, sigma brushes are hand made, i have some mac and and bobbi brown brushes and they are so much better, youtube gurus may rave on about sigma brushes because they are affordable and good quality, but in all honesty, they won't last you so many years like mac and other high end brands, i'm NOT TRYING TO BRAG but i just rather you invest money in high end brushes, they are expensive because they are hand made and will last you forever:) but if you want cheaper brushes, i suggest trying SEDONA LACE they are much better and stronger brushes than sigma! i love them!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful picks! I bought my first ever Tom Ford lipstick (in True Coral) and blush (in Flush- it really is gorgeous!) and I don't regret it for a second :)
