Before I get around to swatching and testing out my purchases from the MAC Divine Night Collection which is MAC's Christmas or Holiday offering depending on your nationality, I wanted to warn you all that a lot of the online images do not fully represent the colours of this collection. I think it is because they are so tricky to photograph so I do recommend popping in-store and seeing anything you fancy in person rather than blind ordering.
I didn't go too crazy this time around and only bought four items two of which I'm a little disappointed with which are the MSF in Perfectly Poised which is far more plum toned than I anticipated but if you are looking for a plum toned blush this could be a great investment. The other item I'm swaying with not even trying out and sending straight back is my lipstick in Exclusive Event, in reality it is far more brown than it photographs and not at all inciting. I thought it would be similar to MAC's Nude which was recently released with the last Rihanna collection but it is very much *cover your ears little ones* a poop brown. Sorry!
The other two products are beautiful and I can't wait to wear them out tonight, I will of course post full reviews and swatches in the coming days but thought it would be worth mentioning the colour inaccuracies for anyone who was swaying with placing an online order.
Oh p.s I adore the mini samples that MAC have included in this order, I think the UK should be more like America and make this a regular occurrence and not something that they reel out come the festive period.
