GFFL

I have to be honest and say that unless you know a person really well and their fragrance tastes or perhaps they have requested a particular scent I don't actually recommend purchasing anyone a fragrance based gift.

Scents are so individual that it is so easy to get it wrong but as this has been my most requested gift guide I have rustled up what I would deem a some what safe list of fragrances to gift those near and dear.
As a heads up I rate Boots to be the best place to buy typical fragrance gift scents as the majority of their sets comprise of a few body products and a full bottle of fragrance for the price of the bottle. Not bad huh.
Anyway without further ado...

First up we have the Versace Miniature Gift set which contains five mini bottles of Versace's best selling fragrances which include: Vanitas EDT, Crystal Noir , Bright Crystal ,Yellow Diamond and Vanitas EDP.
Not only will this look great on a dresser but this way you can sample five various fragrances and more than likely find a favourite along the way. You can find the Versace Miniature Gift via Boots for £25 - link

If the person you have in mind enjoys keeping up with celebrity trends or is a jet setter then this beautiful gift set COMO Shambhala Balms in handy travel-sized roller ball bottles should top your list. This set contains all six iconic fragrances such as: Invigorate, Purify, Comfort, Calm, Shelter and Harmony. The aromatheraputic balms are packed with essential oils making them the perfect portable pick-me-up for a feeling of well being on the go. £31 via Cult Beauty - link

To know me is to know that I adore Thierry Mugler fragrances and although Alien is my signature scent I have yet to find a Mugler offering I don't enjoy. For £31 you can purchase a loved one four mini Thierry Mugler mini eau de parfumes which come in the cutest little bottles. You can read my full review here and purchase the kit here - link

If you are not in the market for mini bottles of fragrance then my picks include the Boss Jour and Boss Nuit Pour Femme Eau de Parfum 30ml Duo Gift Set. For £50 you get two full sized bottles of the new Hugo Boss fragrance line - in theory one is intended for day wear and one is for evening wear. I own both and have to say they are so easy to wear. You can find the duo via Boots here - linkIf you know someone who loves Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb Eau de Parfum (who doesn't?) then I highly recommend the Flowerbomb Christmas Limited Edition. A huge 50ml white glitter bottle complete with a bow. It tops my Dear Santa list that is for sure. Find it via Harrods for £75 - link.

The next gift idea is something I have drooled over for months but can't bring myself to purchasing it given the whooping £220 price tag. Yes it could only be the Tom Ford Private Blend collection. This utterly luxurious collection includes six of Tom Ford’s top selling Private Blend fragrances in mini decanters: Neroli Portofino, Jasmin Rouge, Oud Wood, Tuscan Leather, Tobacco Vanilla and Noir de Noir. Gah how I want it so and I am sure I am not alone. Find it via Harrods for £220 (ouch) -link .

Out of all the kits I have featured today I would say that the Clinique A Little Happiness Gift set is the safest bet with five varations of Clinique Happy. This is one of the few scents I have come across that smells great on nearly everyone with age being no boundary and who doesn't want to be happy? The set includes: Bright floral Clinique Happy and rich floral Happy Heart, plus limited-edition Happy in Bloom, Wealth of Flowers and Hint of Citrus. Find it via Harrods for £30 - link and of course at Clinique counters nationwide.

Last but not least we have the beautiful Penhaligon’s’ Mini For Her Gift Set which includes rather sophisticated mini bottles of their best loved fragrances. I may have selected this gift purely because the packaging is so sweet but if you have a more mature lady in your life who you'd like to gift with fragrance you could do far worse than this set. Inside the bird tin you will find miniature bottles of Lily of the Valley, Malabah, Ellenisia, Artemisia and Gardenia. You can also find this at Harrods for £35 - link

I hope this was some what helpful, if you have any fragrance gift set suggestions I'd love to hear them in the comment section below.
