Weekly Favourites

Just about everyone in my house hold has a head cold so it has been a fairly testing week, oddly I seem to have missed such ill fate...well for now anyway! Needless to say I have been fairly busy doing soup runs etc so my favourites are somewhat basic this week.

This week it has been all about The Body Shops Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter which has quickly and effectively been removing all traces of make-up from my face for the last seven days. As it is a solid oil balm cleanser that emulsifies I find it to be soothing and the perfect treat for my current weather beaten skin. Find it here for £12 via The Body Shop* - link.

Weekly Favourites

I have skipped my typical morning moisturiser in favour of Weleda's Pomegranate Serum and find it to not only instantly firm the skin but to grant the perfect level of hydration for oily/combination skin. The bonus is that it leaves the skin silky soft and matte meaning make-up simply glides on top. In a word amazing.
Find it here for £34.95* - link.

I have wrote in the past that I don't truly rate the Jack Black Lip Balm formula but this week I am eating my words as it has truly been a lip saviour and kept dry, chapped skin at bay. Not to mention the Lemon and Chamomile scent both smells and tastes amazing! Find it on Feel Unique for £7.25 - link.

Weekly Favourites

I only have one make-up favourite this week as like I said I have experienced a fairly low key week but keeping my skin looking both fresh and matte is Barry M's New Flawless Matte Foundation*. It covers well, doesn't give a cakey mask like finish and is one of the few foundations that my oily skin doesn't destroy. So much so that I don't always wear a primer...yay! Find it over on on Boots for £5.99 - link.

Now the weather has changed my hands are really suffering and are prone to hacks not to mention dry skin so I have been slathering on Carex's Hydrate and Protect Handcream which contains an anti-bacterial agent to keep my hands germ free. You can find it in Supermarkets for less than £3.

Weekly Favourites

While you are in the supermarket I highly recommend picking up one of the new Aussie Leave in Conditioners. I personally use the Miracle Recharge formula which is aimed at coloured hair, I mainly use it to de-tangle but it is great for adding a quick boost of moisture to dry, damaged hair. I deem it a must if you are a swimmer. You can find them at Boots for £4.49 each - link.

To know me is to know I am a huge fragrance addict and this week I have been burning Jo Malone's Pomegrante Noir Candle which is simply perfect for Autumn - fruity, smoky and warm...yum! Find it via House of Fraser £39* - link.

For my body I am back on the Victoria Secret bandwagon mainly because now I know that I will be back in the US next year I don't have to be so restrictive with use ha! My current favourite has to be Forbidden Fantasy which reminds me both of black currants and passion fruit it truly is scrumptious and a great Autumnal scent.
