Revlon Parfumerie Nail Enamels

Scented nail polish is most likely something we have all dabbled with at some point and more than likely dubbed it a childish gimmick In fact Revlon tend to launch fragranced nail polish fairly often and have done for a good few years now but let's be honest the novelty quickly wore thin and they can now be found in Poundshop's across the UK.

Why? Well simply put the majority of Revlon's past scented nail enamels were tacky both in scent choice and the colour selection. They appealed to a younger market than the typical Revlon consumer and perhaps were too pricey for the younger consumers who they would mostly appeal to. This time Revlon have went back to the drawing board and have truly created a sophisticated array of scented polishes (24 shades to be precise) which are beautifully packaged (they remind me of both Jo Malone and Debroah Lippmann oddly, the idea is to resemble vintage perfume bottles) and in very wearable shades.

Of course the Revlon Parfumerie Nail Enamels have yet to land in the UK but in North America they have been split into various scent categories : Fruits and Florals, Freshes, Sweets and Spices and contain shades/scents such as Surf Spray, Autumn Spice, Lavender Soap Lime Basil, Ginger Melon, Chocolate Truffle, Italian Leather, Bordeaux, China Flower, African Tea Rose, Apricot Nectar, Pink Pineapple, Sunlit Grass, Watermint, Moonlight Woods, Wild Violets. No gaudy glitters just pastels, grown up metallics and the odd pop of sophisticated colour. They truly are beautiful and the kicker is that the fragrances have been created using natural oils and are a permanent addition to the Revlon family.

I truly can not wait for the Revlon Parfumerie Nail Enamels to reach the UK...roll on 2014.
