"Rihanna’s final collection with M·A·C features the return of RiRi Woo, along with two new Lipsticks: Pleasure Bomb and Bad Girl RiRi. Also featuring Nail Lacquer, Superslick Liquid Eye Liner, Veluxe Pearlfusion Shadow, Bronzing Powder and the double-ended 217 Blending Brush and the 239 Eye Shader Brush. This limited-edition collection is encased in exclusive white-pearl packaging with RiRi’s rose-gold detailing."
One last Rihanna collection for MAC and that is it! Truthfully this time around I am not at all excited and find the collection to be a little blah. The packaging is pretty but unless you are a die hard MAC and Rihanna fan I would say skip...well the lipsticks aside of course. The launch date is said to be the 12th of December for both the UK and USA. It goes without saying this is all of course limited edition.

I don't think there will be the same level of anticipation this time around and I do think that the only products that will be difficult to get will be the the two new lipstick shades.
I'm not too impressed either, I much preferred the last packaging of the previous collection!

I do like the packaging but like you say, none of it is really particularly original.
ReplyDeletePleasure Bomb looks lovely, though!

The packaging is definitely not my favourite but some of the shades are very pretty xx

I tried to get my hands on some items from the last collection, it was a nightmare! I'm going to MAC next week in Quebec City, I will probably get some regular lippy and thats it :)
ReplyDeleteI think the packaging looks so cheap and tacky!
ReplyDeleteBut the products inside are pretty.

I definitely want the double ended 217/239 brush as they are my most used brushes so will be great for travel. Let's see how easy the collection is to get when they are released .....

I really like the look of Pleasure Bomb, but it being a matte I don't think I would wear it if I bought it, which is a shame as it looks gorgeous!

Love the look of this collection, and love the packaging too xx
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I would really want is the lipstick in RiRi Woo, but I just purchased it in the all rose gold packaging a couple of weeks ago!

I'm kinda bored of MAC & Rihanna, I was initially excited about RiRi Woo, but after all this I'm not that bothered any more. I'm not that big of a fan of the packaging either, wish it was more polished like last year's Holiday collection, not covered in writing. Ho hum! I do like the rose gold tone though, just wish they'd collaborated with someone else for such a large amount of collections.
