And we have made it to the last object from my MAC RIRI ♥ Fall haul, I promise that from here on out not another word will be uttered about such collection and if you have managed to read all the reviews I tip my hat to you. In my opinion I have saved the best until last and feel that the blush shade that I am about share could be a great autumnal shade for some. Ladies and gentlemen I present MAC Bad Girl Gone Good.
Much like the majority of the collection this product comes presented within special edition packaging which I have to say I am a huge fan of. Rose gold, with hints of neon pink and a mirrored finish. Very pretty indeed although I could live without the Rihanna signature but that is a story for another time. Some have commented on the quality of the packaging this time around I have to say that other than a colour change I can see nor have I experienced anything different. It is sturdy and closes well...basically job done.
MAC list Bad Girl Gone Good as a "warm copper" which as you can see is completely on the mark. To elaborate a little further I would deem it to be a mid toned brown orange shade that has a warm undertone. Fans of MAC Coppertone will like this shade as it is very similar, so much so that I would deem it to be your best option if you are on the look out for a dupe. Bad Girl Gone Good is one of those shades that will show up differently on most and I warn that on some this can pull really orange so I would not recommend blind buying for this purpose. I also worry that the shade is not intense enough for those with a darker skin tone.
Satin formula blushes in my opinion tend to be the driest formulation from MAC and in my experience are the most likely to cling to dry areas of the skin. I did find MAC Bad Girl Gone Good to be a little chalky when layered on but there is no issue with pigmentation unless you buff it out a little too much and there is a little product fall out due to the dry texture. As this is a satin formula Bad Girl Gone Good is not completely matte and on close inspection it does have tiny little shimmer flecks but I do not find they translate on to the skin, when worn it is essentially a matte formula that does not settle into the pores or fine lines but isn't the easiest to buff into the skin due to the dry formulation. The redeeming feature of MAC satin formula blushes is that they do wear fairly well at around 8 hours on my oily skin when primed but of course everyone's experiences will be different.
