Spring 2014 sees MAC team up with Proenza Schouler designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez on a limited-edition make-up collection for spring 2014. At the moment the information available is very limited but given the designers love for neutral, muted make-up with odd pop of colour I would be very surprised to see the collection go any other way.
"Beauty has always played a huge role in what we do on the runway and MAC has been one of our biggest supporters. We wanted to create something that the Proenza Schouler woman could relate to off the runway, and the MAC brand is so deeply rooted in fashion that we knew they would understand our vision." - McCollough and Hernandez.
At the point the collection is said to include ombre/gradient style face powders which I would not be surprised in the slightest if it was the return of MAC Ripe Peach et al. I certainly hope so. Other products said to be included are Lipsticks (I imagine mostly nude/muted shades with one or two bright pinks), Pro Longwear Eye Liners, Lip Pencils, and Nail Lacquers. The campaign imagery has been shot by Mario Sorrenti.
I can not wait for the colour story and images to leak - I need to know if MAC Ripe Peach will be mine once again! This collection will hit both online and MAC stores April 2014.
Oh this sounds good, I hope there are some nice nude lipsticks in there because I'm on the look out for a pretty nude colour!
