The Crown Brush Infinity Range has had a make-over in is new sleek matte black handles each of which have been subtly imprinted with the Crown Brush logo alongside the numeric code for each brush style - the idea is to aid you in recalling Infinity Brush you have used much like how we refer to MAC brushes as 214's and so forth. The Ferrule colour has also been switched from bright silver to a more refined gun metal silver for an altogether more grown up and professional feel.
Much like before the entire brush line features soft vegan duo fibre synthetic bristles which can be used with cream, liquid and powder formulations and have been created to prevent the brush head from absorbing more product than it applies. It is important to me that brushes wash as well as they preform, I loathe nothing more than a stained brush but as you can see from my images they wash up like new. Below is my personal top three favourite brushes, my thoughts and what I use them for.
C451 Small Round Buffer Brush - As the name may suggest this is a smaller face brush and is the perfect partner to cream/gel blushes in my opinion. As it is slighter in size it is great for targeting specific areas such as the cheeks or anywhere else you would using small buffering strokes. Try it with the likes of E.L.F HD Blush or Make Up Forever's HD Blushes and you'll understand what all the fuss is about.
C453 Angle Brush - In my opinion everyone who wears blusher should own an angled cheek/face brush of some sort. An angled brush allows you to create the cheekbones you've always dreamed of and with Crown Brushes Angle Brush being so soft and fluffy you'll create a soft and natural look every time. I may use the C450 to apply my cream contour but this is what I use to blend and diffuse my cream contour out.
C457 Round Blender - Up until now I have been using my fingers to apply my eyeshadow primers and bases but truthfully 9/10 times I'm never satisfied with the outcome so this little brush is a complete god send. The flat top lets me quickly apply my base all over my eye in lightening time which is nothing short of a miracle when you have tendencies to sleep in!

They look like fantastic brushes! I want!
ReplyDeleteCrown is a brand I have heard a lot about but I believe the pink is what turned me off cause it seems when company's put more into appearance they skimp on actual quality . But after seeing the new look I am very tempted to try them now ( or I could very possibly be thinking of another brand having the pink but either way ... These look great !) thanks for the review :) "Only the Best Beauty" http://www.thebestbydianne.blogspot.com

ReplyDeleteA Beautiful Zen
I just recently bought some Crown brushes to accompany my RT ones and have NOT been upset with them at all. They are so soft, haven't shed at all and wash beautifully (I wash first with baby shampoo and then with white sprit/rubbing alcohol when they are dry). Very good value and I am definitely in the market for some more.
