All treats no tricks this year with Lush's Halloween 2013 collection - three new products will launch on September the 23rd each cuter than the last. Before you go to read about the upcoming arrivals I do want to point out the "Pumkin" is not a typo but a spin off product of another Lush product the Mumkin - I did a double take too!
Pumkin bubble bar (£2.75)
"This bubble bar is a reincarnation of our Mother’s Day Mumkin! Only this time around he’s a little pumpkin – well what else would we create for Halloween? Crumble under a running tap to turn your bath water a vivid, rusty orange colour, creating mounds of sweet scented bubbles. With ylang ylang oil and orange flower absolute to leave you feeling uplifted and refreshed. His dairy free chocolate drop eyes and little liquorice hat complete the macabre look but he still can’t help looking cute!" (Vegan)
Soot Ball bath bomb (£2.50)
"Inspired by the ‘soot gremlins’ from Hayao
Miyazaki’s film Spirited Away, this spooky little guy won’t turn your bath water black
but instead fill it with a radiant golden lustre to make you feel as though you’re bathing
in luxurious liquid gold. The olibanum (frankincense) is known for its calming and
grounding effect on the mind, whilst the burnt caramel scent of tonka absolute and
earthy sandalwood oil together create a sweet, spicy fragrance that wafts through the
steam." (Vegan)
Lord of Misrule bath bomb (£3.30)
"This strange and magnificent bath treat, named after the ruler of the Pagan Feast of Fools, features a fragrance created by Gorilla Perfumer Simon Constantine. This bomb will slowly dissolve to
reveal a wine coloured centre, with the added sweetness of the world’s first fair trade vanilla absolute. This is offset by the earthy scents of black pepper and patchouli oil. Arriving for Halloween 2013, the Lord of Misrule will be gracing us with his presence until Spring 2014."
Which product do you think you'll be purchasing or is it a case of all three must be yours?
These are all coming home with me, haha!
ReplyDeleteI'm not really a bath person but I am intrigued by the soot ball bath bomb just because of it's inspirations. I love that film. :)
ReplyDeleteThe pumpkin is very cute! I must try it :)
ReplyDeleteI'll definitely have a look around and get as much Halloween stuff as possible :O). Xx

They are all so cute! Do you think people with sensitive skin/eczema can use them? :)
ReplyDeletehttp://www.blogthiswithhannah.blogspot.co.uk
I have eczema and use Lush :) my main problem is the products with cocoa butter in them as I'm allergic but if you pop in store I'm sure someone will advise you on the best products :)
DeleteHi there! I work at lush, and I'm more than happy to make a few recommendations for sensitive skin :) a must is the Dream Cream hand and body moisturizer, which is brimming with the soothing powers of Oatmilk and Rosewater, and the moisturizing silkiness of extra virgin olive oil and cocoa butter.
DeleteAs far as bath bombs go, you should be fine. For extra sensitive skin though, I like to recommend popping in a slice of the Happy Blooming bath melt while bathing for a little extra TLC.
Happy Bathing!

Always love Halloween themed products, love the Susuwatari, I'm a big fan of Ghibli films so the Susuwatari (which also happen to feature in my favourite film My Neighbour Totoro) would be ideal, I just wish they would be around this Thursday as it will be next and only chance to visit a Lush shop.
