Summer may be a distant memory for most (it feels like it has been forever since I have sunbathed) but if you want to prolong your tan or add a little warmth to your skin tone without going over the top in the bronzing stakes Clinique Self Sun Body Tinted Lotion may just be the product you are looking for.
Clinique Self Sun Body Tinted Lotion comes in two variants light/medium and medium/deep for the most natural result I suggest going for the shade most suited to your natural skin tone and layering on the product over a few days until you reach the desired result. I have Clinique Self Sun Body Tinted Lotion in medium/deep which might be one of the easiest self tanners I have used in a long while as it is both tinted and a gel like formula. The benefits are that the tint allows you to see where you have applied minimising the risk of streaks and patches, the gel like texture means it applies and spreads with such ease as well as drying in record time. For a truly faultless result I do recommend applying using a tanning mitt, exfoliating before use and mositurising the skin the day after application.
As mentioned this does give a very natural look and is the perfect product for those that don't like to be pale but don't want an overly bronze tan especially with the colder seasons knocking on our doors. Clinique Self Sun Body Tinted Lotion deepens the skin by around two shades much like a gradual tanner would but without the guess work and nasty biscuit/baked scent a lot of self tanners come complete with and unlike a gradual tanner one application can look flawless on my skin for up to a week with the right care. This will be my go to self tanning product for the autumn/winter when a deep tan just doesn't feel quite so right.
If a light natural self tanning product is what you crave you could do a lot worse than Clinique Self Sun Body Tinted Lotion especially if you struggle with application.
